Balding....

MyLuvBugs wrote: Ok....Are any of you guys on here balding? Or ladies are your DH's balding? Mine SOOOOO is, and he's totally hating it. rolleyes.gif I find it kinda cute....but then again almost all the men in my family are bald, so I guess I'm used to it. laugh.gif

But I was watching this show yesterday about balding men that do everything to cover up their "spots". Combovers, tupee's, growing it out really long rolleyes.gif it was really interesting what they did, but the show's host talked them all into just shaving their heads and I must say......they all looked SOOOOO much better. (now if I can just talk DH into doing that biggrin.gif )

But Ladies if your Dh has a "solar panel" (as my brother likes to call it laugh.gif ) would you ever want them to just shave their head?? Do you find it sexy?

boyohboyohboy replied: I havent figured out yet if my husband is going bald or its just getting thin, and he tells me its my fault..stress! smile.gif
but i think i would like it no matter what he did. i am not in love with his hair, just his brains... rolling_smile.gif

MyLuvBugs replied:
Yeah my hubby blames me and the kids too. rolleyes.gif And I agree....I'd love him with or without hair. wub.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I'm pretty sure Micheal is getting more hair laugh.gif
but he shaves his head anyway. He has super fine hair and TONS of it (as does Matt) so when it grows more than an inch or so it is everywhere. My guess is
Matt will have a buzz as long as he's living with me...cant handle the fro

sparkys2boys replied: MY DH is getting thin thru the forehead area!! It's really getting thin!! And yes.. I hear it's stress from me and the kids too!

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I really don't know. Aaron's family all still has their hair. But my grandfather keeps his hair buzzed short which is much better than the combover he used to have. I guess I have that much to thank my step-grandma for.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Dh isn't balding at all, but he always says if he ever did start to he'd just shave his head. He already buzzes it really close to his skin, so it wouldn't be much of a change for him! tongue.gif I don't know how hereditary it is, but his dad is in his 70's and still has a full head of hair. happy.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: Chris has been balding for years now, but he keeps it closely shaved anyhow.

I like that is is closely shaved (not shaved all the way to the scalp), it is if he grew it out on a regular basis that I would not like it.

I do like it when men have their heads waxed, or closely shaved. I think it is attractive. Long hair (shoulder length) is attractive too.

ZandersMama replied: DH is going fast tongue.gif he keeps it shaved real close so noone can tell.
he is also really tall so you can't tell unless he is sitting down.

gr33n3y3z replied: Ok this is funny

We went out to dinner last night and it was a up scale place
There was this guy who had on a tupee but to us it looked like a rooster sitting on his head as our friend called it LOL
Why do they bother with those ugly rug mats on their heads

I agree shave it all off and go for the new look bc most not if all guys look good that way ( anything is better then a rooster on your head wink.gif )

My3LilMonkeys replied: My DH has been balding since I met him...he was 16 at the time. He keeps it shaved and I like it that way.

1lilpeanut2love replied: NO WAY is he going bald. I HATE bald heads. SOrry. blush.gif I am sure he will never go bald. He has very thick black hair. His Dad and his family all have full heads of hair. wink.gif

I agree though guys who are going bald should just shave it. It looks much better. thumb.gif

I have all of my hair too. I am NOT going bald. I also have a full head of dark brown hair. I hope I NEVER go bald. happy.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied:
Ooh I know me too - I always feel way worse for women with thinning hair than men. I think I'd have to get a wig if I started going bald. blink.gif

1lilpeanut2love replied:
Me too!!! LOL! wink.gif

Simplebeliever replied:
Yup, my husband has had bald patches since he was a teenager. He shaves and bics his head. I love it.

MyLuvBugs replied:
Oh gosh....I would LOVE to do that to my DH. Just get out the razor on his head ya know....but he's still holding on that it will "grow back" rolleyes.gif And he only lets me buzz it short. rolleyes.gif

withchild334 replied: My hubby is going bald like his dad. I wouldn't want him to shave it all off though. I've polished his bald patch a few times!!

redplaydoh replied: I think shaving it or just letting it shine through and letting the other areas be neatly trimmed would be fine... but combovers are hideous!

CantWait replied: I don't like bald heads on some men, but the ones that it looks right, omgosh, ya it's sexy. wub.gif

redchief replied: I have all of my hair... it's just graying.

Simplebeliever replied:
LOL. I definately realize how lucky I am that he loves his head bicked.

When we first started dating he had real fine, thin, patchy hair. He was always complaining about it. One day I dragged him over to see my best friend's mom who is a hair dresser. My bbf's mom shaved my hubby's head. Every body complimented him. My husband is a bigger guy and not use to people fussing over the way he looks, but he did like the attention his new do received. So I shave & bic it for him once a week.
