Bathtime last night - I tried a popscicle............

mckayleesmom replied: Hmmmmm....does he like to color? Get him some bath crayons... or body foam and show him how to make beards and stuff with it.

moped replied: Yeah maybe - people don't believe me when i tell them how hard it is to bath him or take him anywhere in a stroller.

mckayleesmom replied: Well..every now and then Mckaylee hates the bathtub...she usually loves it and loves swimming, but accassionally she doesn't want to go in the bath...I just usually don't give in and make her...screaming or not..she stinks. I think its because she doesn't want to get her hair washed (because Ive drowned her so many times and all )

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Does he crawl out or just cry?? What if you get in with him? I just bought Wil these rubber stickon fish that sit on the bottom of the tub. Even though their purpose is to prevent him from slipping, he likes to pick them up. What about putting the little car thing, if it fits, in the tub? Or maybe you'll have try squirting him down with the hose outside...j/k! But maybe it's an idea that he'll find fun!

kit_kats_mom replied: K went through that phase too. I just did what I needed to as quickly as possible. We made up songs & bought her the bathtub crayons for her to use.
She quit that stroller when she figured out how to walk. She'd throw a fit if we tried to put her in it. little Booger.

BTW, from your post title, I thought this was going to be a juicy P&I post. LOL

mummy2girls replied: Jenna went through that. she would scream bloody murder when i put her in. and washing her hair was a ging show! It lasted a couple months and then now she just LOVES bathtinme!!!!!!!!!!

tammyhopkins replied: Jack has never liked a bath right from the get go. He just needs his Auntie there to bath him and he would stay in longer.

My2Beauties replied: Hanna is doing this now. She likes the actual bath but boy when it's time to wash her hair, the child has a fit, I mean she tells me to STOP, pushes me away, screams, does everything remotely possible to try and stop me from touching her head with a wet washcloth! Silly girl! I think it's a phase some kids go through!

they`ve learned to grab the cloth before i grab the cup....

JAYMESMOM replied: We just use a bathtub full of toys. I use the toys to get her wet and wash her up. The worst part is rinsing the hair but we do swimming kicks and it gets done faster.

Some kids just don't like the water. Mine went from not liking it to know she is a fish.
