Baton pics

The girl next to her with the long hair is a year older, and I don't think she's ever cut her hair. Their hair is pulled up in high ponytails, so that girl's hair is even longer than it looks in the pic... it's really pretty in person. I get Ashley's hair cut at least every other month... I cut an inch or two off each time, and then she gets several inches cut off right before she goes back to school because summer causes such havoc on the hair.

Thanks, this is actually her first year of baton, but she caught on pretty quickly. She's taken dance for a couple of years so I think that has helped. She LOVES baton, even better than jazz which is normally her favorite. We watched the older girls at the competition and it was amazing what they could do with a baton. Ashley was in awe of them and is really motivated now.

jcc64 replied: I can't believe that she's the exact same age as Corey--she looks soooooo much older. In the third pic down, she almost looks like a teenager. I can't get over how big she's gotten.
