except tonight....Russell had a belly ache and he woke back up and watched tv with me for about 20 minutes while I rubbed his belly.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Between 8:30 and 8:45.

ions_momma replied: Ion usually goes to bed about 9 on school nights. Weekends he doesnt have a bed time though.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I just put Wil down...it's 8pm.

sunshine girls replied: Between 8:30 and 9:30, Elle's good she goes straight to sleep. Gwen has to brush her teeth, floss her teeth, comb her hair, have a glass of water, say goodnight to her sea monkeys, say goodnight to dad, read the cat in the hat (everynight), then she has to hug mom, say goodnight mom, start a conversation with mom.... dry.gif
she's a troublemaker, but thats her ritual...

CantWait replied: Robbie's bedtime is usually around 9, and Anthony I try to get settled on the chair beside me downstairs while I talk to Ron around 9:30.

amymom replied: Mary (8 yrs old) is in her room at 7:30 reads until 8:00 then lights out. All her friends go to bed after 9 (so she tells me) but she really needs her sleep or she feels it the next day.
Bill (14 yrs old) is to be off the computer by 10pm he is in his room shortly there after and supposed to be lights out by 11. I no longer check on him. He is a big night owl. I was the same way at his age. I remember sneaking the flashlights under the covers. He doesn't need to sneak, but needs to maintain good grades and get his HW and chores done.

Mom2Boyz replied: Wow, we ARE nightowls rolling_smile.gif Caden usually goes down for the night somewhere between 9 and 10. Conner on the other hand stays up until I go to bed around 12 or so. But since they stay up so late, I usually get to sleep until 8 or 9 in the morning. We have absolutly NO schedule around our house LOL.

MyLuvBugs replied: WOW! I feel like a crappy mommy now. sad.gif Ya'll are putting your kids to bed early, and we probably should start doing that too. Lorelei goes to sleep around 10:00-10:30 every night. Sometimes 11:00 if she's being a pain about it. But she just doesn't like to sleep much. 9-10 hours a night and a 2-3 hour nap in the middle of the afternoon. Is that bad? sad.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Glad to see I am not the only one that doesn't enforce an early bedtime. Ashley usually goes to sleep around 9:30 and sleeps until about 9am (except on the days she has school, I wake her up earlier) But, in the summer, I can't get her to bed before 10:00 or 10:30.

mom2tripp replied: 7 PM sharp I'm very strict about this and it works wonders biggrin.gif

ammommy replied: Mommy is all done at 8pm, sometimes 7:45 biggrin.gif

KingMom replied: Colin hits the tub at 6:30 and is usually in the crib by 7, sound a sleep smile.gif Works every night and I keep my sanity!

ammommy replied:
OH, no. That's not bad. She's not even a year old yet, right?
If she's cranky during the day, though, she could need more sleep. If you want to, you could start moving her bedtime earlier in 10-20 minute increments. I did find that starting a bedtime routine at about 15 months worked well for Megan. We waited until Alec was 2.5 and had a battle on our hands every night. It took about 3 months to get the routine down with him. Bedtime is the one thing that we don't have an issue with, now.

~KARA~ replied: My 8yr old at 9:30, My 3yr old at 10 or 10:30 and baby between 9:30 and midnight.

3xsthefun replied: Kaitlynn goes to be between 8:30 - 9:00 pm on school nights. She has stayed up little later few times, but I try make a point get her in bed by 9pm.

Maegan well it depends how easy she goes to sleep. I guess anywhere between 9pm- 10pm somtimes later.

MyLuvBugs replied:
Maybe we'll do that in a few years. My husband and I are such night owls, and we like sleeping in in the mornings. So right now we like the fact that she stays up late to play at night, cause then she lets us sleep until 8. But she does get cranky about 9 every night. You're probably right that she does need the sleep, but getting her to actually do that is the battle. most nights it takes an hour to get her to fall asleep. Even with a set schedule, she just doesn't want to go to bed before 10:30. sad.gif

EeyoreMommy replied: 8pm

moped replied:
Same here

5littleladies replied: 8:30 for everyone except Lissie-She goes to bed whenever we do-usually between 11 and 12. happy.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied: Olivia goes to bed when we do~around 11pm. Next summer we'll have to get her into an earlier nightime routine which should be torture for us all!

ions_momma replied:
Your not a bad mommy. Ion used to stay up on school nights until like 10 or 10:30 but he is alot more tired this year so by about 9 he is ready to watch TV and go to sleep. We dont really make him go to bed at that time, he just chooses too.

coasterqueen replied: Kylie goes down at 7:30 to watch her video...she's asleep by 8:30/9 pm at the very latest.

Megan was going down at 8 pm every night but lately it's been 10 or 10:30 before I get her to sleep.

My2Beauties replied: Wow wish I was so lucky! My little stinker doesn't hit the sack until 9:30-10:00, if she isn't there by 10:00, I put her in her crib and tuck her in, she can stay awake in there all she wants but she sleeps really late, around 9:00-9:30 usually so that is good on weekends, on weekdays we have to wake her up because we go to work before then, but she gets to grandma's and usually goes right back to sleep! But last night, she fell asleep on the couch at 8:45 - whoo hoo for me! Got to watch TV with no disturbances - I'm such a couch potato sad.gif

ilovemybaby replied: Everyone I know seems to put their kids to bed really early (say 7pm) and because Pauls hours used to be 9.30am to 6pm I could never get Abby into bed before 8.30 or 9pm. But now that his hours are 7am to 3.30pm we have been putting Abby to bed at 7pm. It seems to be going well.
