Ben is addicted - to super mario galaxy
PrairieMom wrote: and when i say addicted, it really isn't a strong enough word. Like, obsessed. Totally. Its all he talks about. Its all he wants to do. He draws pictures of mario at school, he can write out "super mario galaxy" but he can't spell "mom" The other day we built a snow mario in the front yard.
So, last night i go in to kiss him good night before I went to bed, and he was whispering in his sleep. SO I sneak over to him to listen. He says something I can't understand, so I kiss him, and whisper "I love you" and he whispers " I love Mario" What a nut.
stella6979 replied: OMG, that is hilarious! I guess the heart wants what the heart wants eh?
lovemy2 replied: That would be the Wii version of Super Mario right?
PLEASE HELP ME FIND MY Wii - I CAN'T WAIT MUCH LONGER
and when I get it can I fly Ben out to teach us how to play
lisar replied: LOL...That is so cute.
Anthony275 replied: go to the city!
is that game any good? im totally illiterate when it comes to any game like that with mario, but im guessing if a 4 year old can do it then i can????
holley79 replied: That is freaking hilarious!! I love it.
PrairieMom replied: I don't know if its any good or not, I can't even watch the thing since I get motion sick so easily. It has newer versions of the old school music tho, so thats cool. I know that the graphics and colors are pretty, and that you need the Wii controller and a nunchuck to play.
At least I am getting leverage out of it. We have a chart and he earns "mario minutes" in 5 min. increments for cleaning the table, getting dressed, feeding the dog and things like that.
Anthony275 replied: he plays THAT but not wii sports? he'll probably beat you in tennis
PrairieMom replied: Oh no, we do Wii sports too. He is pretty good. I can still beat him, but he can do all those games. All before riding a bike with out training wheels.
lovemy2 replied: Again - grand total for buying the Wii would then come to somewhere around $1,000 - Denise already invited me to CA to get one - that was somewhere around $2,000 for the Wii - please DH agreed to $300 after much much much prodding on my part -
Anthony275 replied: you silly thing, just go on a roadtrip for about 6 hours to new york city for the day and get one
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ugh I know...how expensive, eh? The ps3 we bought a few months ago with a few games ran us around 800$... stupid gaming systems... at least we use em!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Actually, JUST now I bought one on ebay for about 375$.

I'm mpython123.
Anthony275 replied: you do know that because you just posted that, christine hates you now, right?
PrairieMom replied: I can't believe how popular they are now. I laughed at Dh for standing in line for ours at walmart when they first came out. now I play it more than him.
Calimama replied: No see you could stay in my guest room and eat at my house.. so it's only the plane tickets!
Calimama replied: I still laugh at my DH for standing in the cold for HOURS.
Anthony275 replied: i laugh at BOTH of you because i walked in the store in the middle of the day, went up to the register and got one
Calimama replied: I'm thrilled for you... really I am.
PrairieMom replied: Technically, I got mine while asleep in my warm bed.
Anthony275 replied: tara are you going to get super smash bros. so i can beat you using wi-fi technology?
PrairieMom replied: I don't know. what is it? can you play on line with each other?
AND BTW, I am THE guitar hero, there is no way you could possibly beat me at that one.
Anthony275 replied: its a "fighting" game with nintendo characters. yea you can play online with friends with it, the version for gamecube was the best game out there; i actually preordered it and i never do that so of course its good you can have that guitar hero title, i have all 3 games for playstation and i played it once; i was so bad at it they stopped me in the middle of playing and ended the game for me. how encouraging
A&A'smommy replied: OMG that is HILARIOUS!!!! I'm totally cracking up out loud
Calimama replied: Funny, I don't see your picture on the case.
Anthony275 replied: i believe tara just got burned
My3LilMonkeys replied: I would totally challenge you to a duel right now if such a thing were possible...I kick butt at that game!
PrairieMom replied: yeah, that was before, you know when they made the game, but NOW I am the Guitar hero. acutally, i have video posted on my facebook of Ben and DH playing.
PrairieMom replied: oh yeah?! How far are you? huh huh? I am just at Lou on med, but I can't beat him. Yet. I still rock harder than my entire family.
So there.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I've beat easy and Medium...Lou took me a couple tries though, but it helps that I love that song so I knew it pretty well.
I'm 4 or 5 songs into hard...having a bit of trouble adjusting to using all 5 fingers...but I really haven't played in a month or so.
My proudest accomplishment (which you've probably beaten LOL) is that I have 7 perfect songs, 2 of them on my first try.
Calimama replied: I'm not sure your constant need to be #1 is healthy there Tara..
PrairieMom replied: you may be on to something...
