~Roo'sMama~ replied: Wow what a story! I'm sorry you had to go through all that! I'm sorry but I had to laugh a couple parts of it though.. you just put it so comically. The pictures are great... you all look so happy. Thanks for sharing!
5littleladies replied: That is quite the story Cary! I don't know if I could have held it together as long as you did. Lauren is a beautiful baby! I just love her dark eyes.
p.s. It says at the top of the page that she was born on New Year's Eve.
DansMom replied: Wow, that's quite a story! Thanks so much for posting it. I love birth stories---there are just so many surprises and different experiences. Lauren is so beautiful!
(Tracy the Copy Editor comments: Change "New Years Eve" to "New Years Day" in the subheading.)
Hugs to everyone---sounds like DH did a great job supporting you, too.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Wow That birth story sounds a lot like what I went through with Jade. Including the non-dilating and falling heart rate. Everything seemed to move a little smoother after I was given the epi.
I'm glad that everything is going so well otherwise. Trips to the ER yeah. That sounds familiar. Does this mean that my next baby is going to be more like K?
She's beautiful Cary. I really can't wait to meet her.
A&A'smommy replied: Wow what an experience! I'm SO glad you didn't have to have a c/s Lauren is absolutly beautiful and you look incredible!!! Welcome back and take it easy and pop in whenever you can!!
amynicole21 replied: She really is a georgous little girl. Makes me excited for my baby to be born
PS... I thought second time labor was supposed to be easier... what gives?
kit_kats_mom replied: I think that's a big lie started by some sneaky little group that wants the worlds population to soar...can't think of any other reason for the discrepancy.
Seriously, I hope everyone's labor goes better than mine.
kit_kats_mom replied: thanks for the heads up you editors. LOL I usually type these in Word and then copy them over but in the time crunch, I just typed it directly. I'm sure there are some doozies of errors in there. Actually, I'm suprised it makes any sense at all. I'll go back later and work on them when I get a chance. I still need to do our December webpage also. Too much...to little time time.
coasterqueen replied: Wow, that was an exciting birth. She's absolutely beautiful Cary.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Well, I guess I'm just an old sap as I have tears streaming down my face after reading it. Babies are such miracles. I'm so glad she is healthy and the two of you are okay after all of that. I was pretty scared when I had Ethan so I know the relief when they get here and are healthy.
She is so beautiful, Cary! You look wonderful, too. Looks like it didn't take you long to recover.
aspenblue1 replied: WOW what a birth story!
MommyToAshley replied: I have to agree...wow...what a story.
And, AWWWEEEEE! Lauren is BEAUTIFUL. I think she already looks a lot like K. I wished I looked as good as you after giving birth!
jcc64 replied: I'm with you Aimee! I'm sitting here all misty eyed- I can never hear enough about a baby's birth- and your story certainly was action packed, Cary. The pooping out a sequioa is about as perfect a description I have heard to date. FYI- all 3 of my kids came out sunny side up. She's absolutely precious, as is K as usual, and I definitely see a sisterly resemblence. Congratulations again and thanks for sharing your joy (and misery) with us.
ediep replied: oh my what a story!!!!! I love the pooping out sequioa line, its perfect. I am so sorry that it was so hard...but it was worth it in the end! she is beautiful
MomToMany replied: Wow, what an amazing story!! And I must say that baby Lauren is incredibly beautiful . Thank you so much for sharing it!
kimberley replied: congrats on your beautiful "exciting" girl! sorry your birth experience was so crazy. my induction went the same way... one crappy intervention after another... but on the bright side, we both have our sweet girls here now to love and cherish. i love the last part about how you will re-read her birth story whenever you get baby fever . trust me, it doesn't work... you will just find yourself saying.. "it really wasn't *that* bad". oh how the mind forgets lol. sending lots of ~*~*happiness and health*~*~ vibes to you both!
ps sorry i am such a dufus and am just seeing this now
jdkjd replied: She's beautiful and definitely "exciting!"
I'm hoping she turns out to be the laid-back baby and doesn't continue the trend though!
CCTandME replied: That was a great story. Congratulations!! Your girls are BEAUTIFUL!!!
A&A'smommy replied: I just had to look at her pictures again you have two VERY beautiful girls!! It makes me miss my tiny baby and the whole hospital experience!
