So I've been seeing the straight legged jeans in magazines and I'm on the verge of shedding a tear or two! Please don't take my boot cuts away!
ediep replied: I really like boot cut, but straight leg isn't as bad as tapered!! Blech!!
TANNER'S MOM replied: Oh I agree.. I have thick thighs and I like that look best for me..
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
coasterqueen replied: LOL. I just got with the times and started getting bootcut middle of last year and now they are going away? Well they won't be for me because I am not spending more money on jeans. Course I still have straight leg ones too.
Do you remember when we used to roll our jeans? Or was that not in your time? I don't think I could ever go back to rolling them.
Josie83 replied: Gosh Nice who cares what's in the magazines! Where what you want! I think mine are bootcut, but not quite sure. I LOVE my jeans! xx
PascosGirl replied: I will never get rid of my bootcut jeans. I wear too many boots to do that. I will also never wear tapered leg jeans.
5littleladies replied: ROFL!!! Did you ever fold them over and roll them?? Or safety pin them??
I love my boot cut jeans and there is no way I'm getting rid of them!
coasterqueen replied: I folded them over and rolled them. I never heard of safetypinning them. If I get some time this weekend I'll have to pull out some old pics of me wearing that LOVELY fashion.
ammommy replied: And you knew you had a good roll when you couldn't get your foot out of them without unrolling your jeans Like tapered jeans weren't tapered enough What were we thinking?
Bootcuts will be around for ever (I hope), just not shown in magazines so they may get a bit hard to find.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I also like boot cut I need some new jeans
besides Kaitlin looks adorable in them
mammag replied: Oh my goodness! I remember that!!!! At my school you would fold them then roll and then wear them with a pair of white K-Swiss with no socks! Ooh!!!!!
I will never get rid of my boot cuts. If they are going out I guarantee it won't last. It is too flattering of a fit for most people. It just makes your legs look longer and leaner to me. Plus, what are you going to do about the boots? And if you are vertically challenged you can't beat them with a pair of 3inch heals!
ammommy replied: Well, don't you just tuck your jeans into your boots?
mammag replied: Oh no! I did that one too! With big socks sticking out that matched the shirt!
PascosGirl replied: We called it tight rolling. How silly did we look back then?? lol
GavinsMommy replied: I can't stand straight leg or taper...I feel trapped! LOL. You've really beein seeing straight leg in magazines??? Crazy...I don't think it's flattering at all, but that's just me. It just reminds me of spandex...
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I hope they don't stop selling boot cut jeans! I can live without flares - I wore them a few years ago but not anymore. But I will wear dresses every day before I will wear tapered jeans!
gr33n3y3z replied: I never went with the fashion stuff I wear what is comfy to me Sweatshirts and blue jeans Now when you go to buy blue jeans they already have holes in them Thank you but no thanks I like putting my own holes in them lol
PascosGirl replied: They have sold boot cut jeans for years and years. I don't think they will ever stop. Tapered leg or straight leg jeans are very unflattering.
A&A'smommy replied: ha there is no way I would wear a straight legged jean I can't find a flare big enough for me
Mandasmomma replied: oh - no, they cant take those away from me.
Do you think maybe it is jsut a seasonal change?? Like since we wont be wearing boots as much in the spring or summer??
Amanda8 replied: I will only ever wear boot cut jeans. Mabey if I was a size 0 and had tooth pick legs I would concider a different cut.
