Borat - has anyone seen it?
stella6979 wrote: From the previews I saw, it doesn't really look like my kind of movie, but DH is dying to see it. Just wondering if any of you have seen it and if you liked it or not.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Looks boring.
Cece00 replied: I saw it. Its VERY funny.
jcc64 replied: It's one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. It's not for everyone, though.
Calimama replied: I liked it! It's not for people who get offended easily. From what I've read from past posts you don't seem to.
stella6979 replied: Nah, not offended easily at all. Thanks for the input everyone, maybe I'll pick it up on the way home and surprise DH.
C&K*s Mommie replied: I have not seen it, but I want to. The way the previews showed it before it came out- it looked boring, but I have heard lots of hilarious things about it so I guess the previews were a little misleading.
Swood75 replied: DH and I both want to see it so I think we will rent it this weekend
CantWait replied: Looks like one of those "this is so stupid" kinda movies. Not watching it here.
holley79 replied: Didn't look like my kind of movie either.
Nina J replied: It was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. He says some shocking things, and I can see why people got offended, but I think if you watch it you have to remember it's just a joke and not everything in life has to be serious.
Twelve Volt Man replied: It didn't look too great to me, but when an easily-offended friend said it was one of the funniest movies she's seen in a looong time, I decided that I wanted to see it. My wife and I are waiting for it to come on pay-per-view, and we're gonna watch it.
JadensMama05 replied: OMG, the funniest movie I have seen in I don't even know how long!! I love Sacha Cohen too. It's definitely not for everyone, my Mom would not like it. I was seriously laughing my butt off. I highly recommend it if you have a sense of humor and aren't easily offended!
hawkshoe replied: I had no interest in seeing it either, but dh wanted to so we went and saw it. I have to say that I laughed my butt off. It was very funny, especially the first half. Definately not for the easily offended.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ok I saw the first 5 minutes last night - OMFG - HILARIOUS!
Oh course, not for you if you don't like Ali-G's humor. I hadn't realized it was Borat, the Kazhakstanian reporter personality that Ali-G does. Holy CRUDE!!!!!
Loved the first 5 minutes...... my friend lent me his dvd for a few days before he has to return it
