Boy oh Boy - Mckaylee is going to lose all her toys

mckayleesmom wrote: I have told her a billion times this morning to go pick up her toys. She keeps dilly dallying around. A couple minutes ago she got her last warning....pick them up or I will pick them up and she won't have them for a long time.......and Im serious. So far she is still mucking around.....so Im sure I will own alot of new toys today!

TheOaf66 replied: Tanner likes to do that after we tell him that HE has to pick them up...especially when it is bedtime, I wonder why laugh.gif . Just make sure you stay consistent with her and don't back down

mckayleesmom replied:
Oh...consistant I will be.....especially since if I have her toys...she won't be able to mess up the house with them rolling_smile.gif

She already whined this morning about wanting her other toys back and I told her no. Not until she shows respect and that she can behave.

TheOaf66 replied: the only thing I see that can go wrong is if she has no toys then she will be looking for "other" things to play with and that could get bad laugh.gif

holley79 replied: Time to confiscate. laugh.gif How long will you actually keep them though Bri before you give in or she drive you batty. emlaugh.gif

mckayleesmom replied:
I already told her that she has to earn them back by doing good things.

I just confinscated them all and she isn't happy. She is standing here right now crying. She is also begging to watch tv....which she also lost for the day.

mckayleesmom replied: I even stripped her of her holloween costume she was wearing...tiara and all......... laugh.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Now she is desperatly trying to clean the living room to earn her tv privilleges back............Someone tell me why I didn't think of this punishment before?? laugh.gif

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Brianne, I hope it keeps working. Tell her next is my house.

Boo&BugsMom replied: You're doing a great job mama!!! Great job at being consistant! Wanna come over and do that for me with Tanner? It seems nothing gets through to him when we take stuff away. The only thing that has worked for him though is counting. If I tell him he has 20 seconds to get his butt in gear, he HATES it when I start to count. I don't know why. Maybe he doesn't like to be rushed...hummm. Whatever the case, at least the counting works. Now, if I could just get him to CARE about getting things taken away... dry.gif

kimberley replied: rolling_smile.gif she is going to be in an empty room soon! hope this starts working for you soon. hug.gif

CantWait replied:
emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif That's exactly what I was thinking.
