Braxton Hicks in my BACK!!!!!!!!!& - OUCH!
jen wrote: Okay I woke up this morning and was getting ready when I found myself on all fours rocking and rocking and rocking!!!!!!!!!! I finally came to the conclusion when a new wave of pain came over me that these lovely things were BRAXTON HICKS but in my BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUCH! This is pretty painful! This started at 8 and now it is 10:21 here and I am still having them. I almost didn't come to work today and on the Freeway I thought I would rip off my steering wheel and throw it out the window!
*But don't worry they are really really irregular!!
Kaitlin'smom replied: yep I had my contractions in my back thats the main reason for getting y epi---I just could not hanlde the back pain....she was sunny side up....so if yoiur little one is sunny side up then pain is gonna be in the back! NO fun! sorry your in pain!
~CrazieMama~ replied: Hey Jen, when I was preggo with Brianna, at 34 weeks I was having the same thing, but in my tummy. I had 2 within 10 mins while at my dr. appointment. The doctor made me go over to the hospital right after the appointment.....sure enough..I was starting labor. Thanks god they were able to stop it. Just an idea though. If you have 6 or more an hour, they say that you should call.
I am sure your fine...make sure you drink lots of water. The ladies at the hospital says if you get even a little dehydrated, you can go into labor... Oh boy, I hope I did not scare you....But I did go through that and would hate to see you go through it as well. Many hugs to you.....
mummy2girls replied: Oh Jen...i am thinking your going to be having bacl abour when you do go into labour. I had it with Jordan and man did it hurt! But that epidural helped alot!
Schnoogly replied: You can turn the baby around now. Spend lots of time on hands and knees rocking your pelvis in a circle. Do squats. Do a lot of them! You really want to avoid back labor--I had it too and it was horrible!
DansMom replied: Yikes!! I never had anything except a mild tightening until real labor. That sounds painful!!! It gives you an idea of the real thing I guess. Get plenty of rest and drink lots of water!
jen replied: OK! I am on it!!!!!! THANKS!
jen replied: I have been watching the clock at a couple intense ones!!! But they are so irregular I am not too worried right now!!!!
~CrazieMama~ replied: Thats good. Mine weren't regular at all either...and I never thought twice about it, until i had my 34 week appointment.
jen replied: hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........maybe I will give them another call!!! Thanks!!!
~CrazieMama~ replied: You can never be too safe. I know your only 31 weeks, but it would suck to have a baby that early...I also started dilating at that time also...my mucus plug came out a couple days prior to that.
CantWait replied: OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh I remember getting them. I never got BH with my first pregnancy so I didn't know what they were at first, but with Anthony I got them in my back the last few weeks and they hurt like a bugger. Hope you're feeling better soon
A&A'smommy replied: that is what i was thinking...i didnt get to have a real labour and i never did have any braxton hicks ....but i hope that she moves for you....i do remember alyssa killing my back i tried EVERYTHING to get her to move!!!
MommyToAshley replied: I feel for you, sweetie. I hope they let up and you feel better soon! And, I hope that you don't end up having back labor either!
Sending some "stay put a little while longer" vibes for your little one (just in case)
coasterqueen replied: Jen, I hope you are feeling better today
