Breakfast is the most important meal, but...

For us that are trying to make a lifestyle change, or are simply dieting, do you actually eat breakfast??

scattytart replied: at the moment i dont have time to eat breakfast, having babies/childeren seriously alters time all you can think about is getting your children ready i do try to eat a bit of fruit though just so i have eaten something biggrin.gif

I never use to eat breakfast but now I like to have something ~ I just eat a bowl of cereal or a piece of toast or some carnation instant breakfast ~ anything more than that is too much. tongue.gif I made myself start eating in the morning when I was pg.

SOUTHERN MOMMY replied: I don't and never have i just am not a breakfast person i usually don't eat until around noon This may explain why i'm Bigger than some who do.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I am thinking that I need to make myself do the same thing, the thought of eating when I am not hungry makes me sick, though. Kinda backwards.... KWIM?

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Yes I eat breakfast every morning, but I HAVE to. I have hyploglycemia and don't want to risk passing out for not eating.

PrairieMom replied: I always have. usually I have two! I eat with The Boy at 7:30, usually cereal, then at 10 or so I will have a second one, toast or fruit or something like that. If I work a day shift I eat at 5:30 before I leave the house, then again at 9 or so at work!

TeagansMom609 replied: I HAVE to eat as soon as I get up. If I dont I get weak and shaky an hour or so after. Plus I love food too much to not scarf something down as soon as I wake up. LOL. happy.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: I eat a small breakfast - yogurt or a bowl of cereal usually - within an hour of getting up. On weekends I tend to forget though.

CantWait replied: I do......it's not usually till I get into work at 9:00, and sit down at my desk to check my messages and e-mails, but I have a full breakfast. Then an hour later I'll have my snack etc... thumb.gif

When I eat breakfast I get irritated because it seems like I'm hungry for lunch sooner, which means I snack in the afternoon. But they say frequent snacks/small meals can help with weight loss.

I eat whatever sounds good in the am, even if it's leftovers from last nights dinner!

holley79 replied: I didn't start eating breakfast until I was on weight watchers. Then of course it carried on through pregnancy and now post partum. Because of my work schedule my breakfast time was at 4 in the afternoon instead of in the morning. blush.gif

3_call_me_mama replied: I try to eat something every morning by 9 am. Usuallyl it's a yogurt or toast or a small bowl of cereal. Sometimes fruit but lately it's been a grapefruit and 1 slice toast (dry). Cause i know i need to eat and that's nutritious and holds me over until 1-2 for lunch. (Sometimes i have asnack of a few pretzels or rice cakes with teh kids in teh mid mornign if I eat before 8. ) Today I had a slice of toast with 2 tsp PB and a banana (1/2 actually) cut up on it. yummy

MamaJAM replied: I eat something for breakfast every day -- I can't wake up without at least 2 cups of coffee...and if I have that much with no food I feel sick.
