Breast Reduction

lovemy2 wrote: Who has had one - why - cosmetic or acutally physically in pain? How bad was it and did your insurance cover it? And how big WERE you and how big did you end up?

I get nasty neck/upper back aches, have lovely indents on my shoulders - I am a 38 DD -

mommy~to~a~bunch replied: I haven't had one, but I want one when we are done with babies. I'm too big as it is now (last bra I got was a size 42L), and it does cause me shoulder & back pain, plus grooves in my shoulders despite extra wide straps. I'm sure our insurance will cover it if it's causing other physical problems.

Kaitlin'smom replied: a friend of mine looked into it she is uneven as is cause soem mild back issues, I forget what the diagnosis is but her insuacne wont cover it sad.gif

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Went from a 38DD to a 38D, was the best thing I ever did. And it was for medical reasons. My insurance covered the majority of it. I had to have a certain weight removed from each, but I love it. The recovery wasn't as bad as I expected. I felt lousy for a few days, couldn't raise my hands over my head for about a week. Was totally worth it.

A&A'smommy replied: I have a friend that had one when she was 16 because she was having MAJOR back problems. If it is causing you other medical problems your insurance will cover it

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I was thinking about it when i was chubbier... but I went from a 38 DD to a 32 C.... so I'm not thikning about it anymore..I kind of want some boobage back. emlaugh.gif

amynicole21 replied: I want a lift - don't think insurance will consider it though even if I beg. rolleyes.gif

My2Beauties replied: laugh.gif I have to laugh, I'm barely a 34B, so I need some boobs! Definitely not thinking of a reduction here.

mckayleesmom replied: I just had mine done right about 2 years ago in January......I love it....Mine was for not only back pain, but a little cosmetic too because I didn't ask for it, but they lifted mine too. I went from a 40 dd to a 38 D....although If I lost some weight they would be alot smaller...When I first got them done they were alot smaller...Like a 36 C....But I have gained weight.

My insurance paid for all of it....its military insurance though. I didn't think the pain was bad at all....The worst thing about it for me was the drain tubes they put in my armpits...and my nips were really really sensitive for about a month or so.

PrairieMom replied: yeah. um, I'm barely an A. I don't think I will be getting one. laugh.gif

mommy~to~a~bunch replied: LeaAnn & Tara - I have enough for both of you that I wish I could give you both rolling_smile.gif . Being big chested is not all it's cracked up to be sad.gif .

PrairieMom replied:
I don't want to be big chested, just chested. rolleyes.gif nothing like needing to hve chicken cuttlets to fill out your A cup. rolleyes.gif

My2Beauties replied:

I know the feeling. My 34B's sort of hang off of me, I can wear an A cup, it's a tad bit tight, but not too bad, I just wear a B because it makes me feel better! laugh.gif

Mollie, I'd love it if you would share! LOL!

mommy~to~a~bunch replied: user posted image Here's some tata growth vibes for you guys LOL. Believe me, if I could share, I would!!

My2Beauties replied:
Thanks. I'll let you know if I see any results laugh.gif

MoonMama replied: I'm a 36 DD and I have thought about it before....but they aren't causing me any issues (yet), and I think DH would cry. cool.gif laugh.gif

ZandersMama replied:
send some this way too tongue.gif I slide out the bottems of my a cup bra. The kids killed my boobs, now they are flaps of skin with nipples. Although with the right push up bra and a couple pairs of the boys socks tucked in the bottem i fill out a training bra quite well. sad.gif
