Bumbo Seat - Did you like it???

moped wrote: Just curious if you really loved it or not so much??? And at what age are they used?

Calimama replied: Loved it!! I used it all the time.

Crystalina replied: I don't think they had that when mine were that small but it looks very comfy for them.

KingMom replied: Liked it, used it sometime after 4 months and up until 11 month. Didn't use it everyday though, just every now and then.

lovemy2 replied: I wasn't crazy about it - but Dylan had reflux so I think it bothered his tummy to sit like that - and once he was really able to sit in it - he started trying to crawl out of it tongue.gif But they are pretty convienant.

3xsthefun replied: I want to get one for Ryan, I think he would really like it. I just haven't really had a chance to get him one yet.

moped replied: I thought they seemed a bit pricey for what you get - but thats just me! They are 59.99 here.....I noticed them for 39.99 there

3xsthefun replied:
I think they are a bit pricey also. That is one reason why I haven't gotten one yet.
I guess they are a bit cheaper here though.

I've been looking at them on ebay but haven't found no good deals yet.

MotherForever2043 replied: I have heard good things about them from my girlfriends. I plan on getting one for Jordan. I think they can start to use them at 3 months.

Our Lil' Family replied: LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! I really cannot say enough about this seat. They are $39 here in the states. I give them as gifts to just about every new mom I know!

ZandersMama replied: Love it love it love it love it. Zavier is sitting on his own now because of the one Christine sent me. It's great anyway, but great for kids with developmental problems.

stella6979 replied: I hadn't heard of them until after Avery was about 9 months, otherwise I would have gotten one. I've heard nothing but good things about them.
Here's a few I found on ebay.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I have one that I got on ebay - I like it a lot. happy.gif I put Allie in it on the kitchen counter while I'm cooking or cleaning, and I put it on the computer desk too - I wouldn't be able to get on the computer at all without it. tongue.gif The only thing is, she's more mobile now and she twists herself around in it trying to reach things. So now I put the tray on it when she's up on the counter or somewhere up high and I'm not right there next to her, so she doesn't fall out. wink.gif

Cece00 replied: I had one for Natalie and honestly we barely used it.

holley79 replied: Annika loved hers. As soon as she was old enough to hold up her head I started putting her in it. She used it till she was sitting on her own. My sister used it for her little one and loved it also.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Aiden likes his, but not for long periods of time. It has come in handy though, since he likes to be moved to various places and positions quite often. I like having one, but I wouldn't say I'd be lost without it. I could take it or leave it. I will say though, that I think Aiden's back muscles have gotten stronger from sitting in it. I think he will be sitting on his own before Tanner did.

Jackie012007 replied: Carly lived in hers from about 3 months to just recently!! We also got the tray that goes on top to make it a sort of high chair - I think it definitely made her back stronger; she was sitting without assistance at 4 or 5 months! I highly reccommend it - we spent $35.00 on the seat and $8 on the tray, we got them at BJ's

bunkie replied: I loved mine, got it at target for around 40 bucks with tax. I used it from around 4 months to 10 months. It was especially helpful because mine was lazy and didn't sit up unassisted until she was 8.5 months old. I am really happy I spent the money on it. When I was done I sold it on craigs list and got exactly what I paid for it.

jem0622 replied: I discovered the Bumbo with my girls. LOVED it. Great reselling value too. I didn't use them until about 5-6 mos of age until about 9 mos of age. You could start sooner than that though.

My2Beauties replied: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing. They didn't have them when Hanna was a baby but boy I wish they did. Aubrey likes hers, she's already trying to sit unassisted and she's a little over 4 months old, I mean don't get me wrong she still needs assistance but she can sit there a couple seconds before she topples over. Her back is strong because of it. I've only been using it a little over a month. Sometimes she gets a little fidgety in it because they really can't go nowhere in them, but for the most part she likes it. It's lightweight and you could use it as a makeshift highchair. Put it on the kitchen table, give them a bib and feed away, it's really easy to clean, easier than the lap belts are on the actual highchairs. I'll probably use this until she's able to really eat on her own when I feed her because it's much less space that it takes up and it's so lightweight and easy to clean, like I said. Obviousy she'll need a tray in front of her when she can feed herself so I'll get the highchair back out, but until then...this works good. I would recommend anyone buy one to be honest, it's worth the $$$.
