Burn update

jacobsmama wrote: Well yesterday was a week that Jacob burned his hand on the woodburner (I posted then) and he seems to being doing better. wub.gif This evening is the first time that he could leave the bandage off for more than an hour so I let him go to bed with it off, the skin is still so sensitive there but it needs some air too. I'm so glad it is finally healing up it was so hard not getting it wet and him crying in the middle of the night over the pain..I hope that none of your children have to go through that because bless their little hearts..

Thanks for the thoughts and hug.gif while he was/is getting better. wub.gif

amymom replied: OMG I missed that post. A burn is a terribly painful injury. I am glad he is beginning to heal. Prayers for him.

mom21kid2dogs replied: hug.gif I missed your original post, too re: this but am glad he's better! My sister was 9 months old when she snuck behind my mom and put her hand on the hot broiler. I remember crying every time I looked at it. My sister, on the other hand, has no memory of it!!!

gr33n3y3z replied: I'm glad he is doing better smile.gif

Did they give you a white burn cream to put on it and you had to keep it covered and not let the sun hit it or the cream could turn his skin black?
