PrairieMom replied: That just sounds like pure laziness to me. There are other nurses that work for that agency. They can switch assignments with one of them if there isn't one with some free time. How annoying that they are just blowing you off like that.
That nurse must have been complained about before.

mom2my2cuties replied: You should do a little research and find out what hospital (and what company) owns the agency that you are using and contact them. The higher up you go, more pressure is put on the lower parts of the chain and keep going until you get some one who will make things right.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: After talking to my DH about this, he seems to think that this is a very small organization and that they don't have many nurses working. Last year we dealt with a different homecare agency and they were so much better!

lovemykiddies replied: Does Spencer have a problem with the nurse too (I'm assuming so!)? Maybe I'm way off base, but is there any way he could request a change? I know he's just a child, but he's still their patient. The hospital should take requests seriously. I'm sure if the nurse is really moody it could rub off on Spencer. He def. doesn't need the extra stress.
