MomToMany replied: DH & I watch football together. Our favorite team is the Minnesota Vikings! They actually won their first game of the season on Sunday. Thank goodness we DON'T have Randy Moss anymore. We're better off without him !

msoulz replied: For the pro teams, I guess we must support the home team despite who they are, so I say Lions (enough said about that . . .)

BUT, my alma mater, Michigan State, is my favorite. Big game this weekend vs. University of Michigan.

Usually an exciting game and usually MSU comes out on the losing end - but this year my team seems to have it together and U of M is faltering. While this means nothing as THE game takes on a life of its own, at least I'm hoping for a good game, not a big blow out like we have seen in the past - of course a win would be the best!

And then of course, my sports widow-hood is exaccerbated by dh's unending involvement in EVERY youth sports program in town. He can't just be the coach, he has to run the whole darn league. Baseball, football, basketball- I'M SICK OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, I'm glad he's involved with the kids and a commited community volunteer, but man, my house is falling apart around me.

MY teams are FSU (my Undergrad) and the Bucs. His teams are Notre Dame (his family is Irish and from the area), UGA (his Undergrad) and Cleveland Browns.

I also have an office pool and my fantasy team.

coasterqueen replied: I despise football, but I have always rooted for the Chicago Bears. DH despises football worse than I do so I'm not sure if he'd even root for anyone. He will watch the special games, the ones on holidays, but only because it's the only thing on wherever we go.

My father still tries to talk football with Ryan after 13 years of DH telling him he hates football.

My2Boyz replied: My DH is a huge Redskins fan and my DS is an Eagles fan. I'm not sure how that happened. For college ball he likes Virginia Tech. Me, I could care less.

mom21kid2dogs replied: We go to every high school football game & cheer on the purple & white. Saturdays are devoted to OHIO STATE FOOTBALL although I have always enjoyed watching Notre Dame, too. Actually, I'll watch any college football game that doesn't involve the University of Michigan (unless they are getting beat, of course ).
No pro sports for me but my husband is a long suffering Cincinnati Bengals fan. At least they are winning this year!

My2Beauties replied: We don't have any Pro Sports Team but for college it's definitely University of Louisville for me - go Cards and then for DH it's university of Kentucky - when they play it's called the Dream game! UofL is my alma mater. he cheers for UofL unless they areplaying UofK though!

My SIL almost started a family feud yesterday when she babysat for us and sent Madison home in a Philadelphia Eagles shirt!
