Can I just say . . . . . - vent & request for help
mom21kid2dogs wrote: I HATE TICKETMASTER!!!!!!! We've always had a family tradtion (even well before Olivia) of going to see A Christmas Carol stage production on Thanksgiving weekend. I got our tickets online from Ticketmaster (unfortunately the only option)several weeks ago. For all their work, I paid them $10 per ticket service charge and another $2.50 charge for them to email my etickets. You can no longer have them mailed to you in regular mail~it's email or express mail for yet another $10. I went to open the link last night to print them out and the Ticketmaster site won't recognize my password. Because I attempted it 5 times, they locked my account and claimed they were sending me an alternate password. As of now, no password has been recieved. I emailed their "customer service" (this ought to be interesting) and explained that I need to get to the account before tomorrow at 5pm. Anyone had this issue before or have any suggestions? I checked my Spam filter and the reply didn't go there. It will make me sick to rebuy these tickets at the box office for another $121 bucks. Ugh!!!
gr33n3y3z replied: Call Ticketmaster themselves and talk to them
I refuse to use them they surcharge up the @$$ to much
MommyToAshley replied: Is there a number you can call?
I hope you get your tickets.
luvmykids replied: Oh that stinks!!!!!
I would definitely try a phone call, I hope you get it worked out
mom21kid2dogs replied: There isn't any phone number that I can find on the website, or I'd call for sure rather than dink around with the email stuff!!!
MommyToAshley replied: Here you go, hope this helps: http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/states/oh.html
mom21kid2dogs replied: Thank you Dee Dee! I have no idea why I couldn't find that on their website. You're a lifesaver!!!!
I called and after 20 minutes of going through their prompts, they'll have my tickets issued through the will call. FYI, if you get tickets online you will never have the option of snail mail again through Ticketmaster. It's email($2.50), express mail ($10) or overnight ($20). They will only send you tickets if you place a phone order.
I wish there were other options than getting tickets through them!
gr33n3y3z replied: I'm so glad you were able to get it strightend out
luvmykids replied: ME TOO, their service charges send my blood pressure through the roof
Glad you got it resolved without having to shell out more money, enjoy!
stella6979 replied: You could always try ebay. Dh and I get all of our tickets there.
MommyToAshley replied: Glad to hear you got the tickets. I hope you enjoyed the show.
jcc64 replied: Yeah, Ticketmaster blows. I avoid it at all costs.
HuskerMom replied: That's good to know they won't mail them to you anymore. That's how we've always gotten ours. Glad you got your tickets!
grapfruit replied: Well you could always make a drive to Piqua (north of Dayton) to watch the Christmas Carol. My brother is the lead (Scrooge) in the HS production of A Christmas Carol (Musical version). AND he's a junior! (normally just the seniors get the lead).
