She is having kind of a rough start to her 1st Birthday though..She had an ear infection and sinus infection on Monday and they put her on antibiotics..Well,she wasn't getting much better after have several doses of it so i took her back today (she was wheezing and coughing really bad) well,she thought it was RSV and also sent her for a chest x-ray to make sure it wasn't pneumonia well,they called after lunch and said she has viral bronchiolitis (sp?) and it pretty much just has to run it's course but to keep giving her her antibiotics for the ear infection,infant motrin for fever/pain and running the cool mist humidifier and if she is coughing or wheezing any worse or not any better by tomorrow to let them know because they will have to call her in a RX for a steroid.. My poor baby is miserable...What a great 1st B-day,huh??

I feel you on the sickness. My boys have been so congested for what seems like forever. Carter has so much mucus that he is throwing up at least once a day and not wanting to eat as much. I SO want it to be over.
I hope Kassidy is feeling better tomorrow!

Swood75 replied: Well,the coughing (knock on wood) seems to be somewhat better..She DID sleep all night for the 1st time in a few days..But she also had a rash of some sort yesterday on her back and stomach when I took her in and they said they thought it was viral..Well,it is pretty much ALL over her now..Face,neck, legs,back stomach and even a little on her arms.. She is going back to the Dr at 10 and I will let y'all know when I get home what they say..And we WERE gonna have her Birthday party tomorrow,but guess what?? We are under a winter storm warning..Don't get me wrong,I LOVE snow,but NOT tomorrow..So I am having to postpone it til Sunday and hope that she is feeling better and all the ice etc is gone..

Swood75 replied: It is nothing uncommon..It is called viral exenthia or something like that (a rash) that is very common in children under 2 who have had a viral sickness..said it would start on the stomach/back and spread (which it has)and is usually gone in a couple days.. what a BIG relief..

Swood75 replied: Thanks everyone..We ended up postponing her party til tomorrow b/c we were under a winter storm warning..Well,we got pretty much ALL sleet lastnight (didn't amount to much thank goodness) and got a dusting of snow tonight..(big whoop T doo)
