Carma-Does anyone believe in it?

lisar wrote: Okay here is why I am asking. When I was 17 and broke up with my boyfriend (because he slept with my best friend at the time) I was working at a restaurant. Well him and his new girl-friend came in to eat one night. Well I paid there waitress $20.00 to spill a glass of tea on them. rolling_smile.gif (I still think its funny) Okay but a couple weeks ago there were 6 of us who went to the nicest restaurant in Jax. Ruth Chris steak house. Well I was sitting there and the waiter spilled a glass of water in my lap. I was fine with it. His tip was a little lower than normal because he didnt apologize. However I got to thinking about it and I thought that was Carma getting me back. If it was IT WAS SO WORTH IT. I know I am so mean but you gotta admit it was funny.

Edited to say this was 10 years ago when I worked there.

jcc64 replied: I absolutely believe in karma. Probably the closest thing I have to a religious belief system.

luvbug00 replied: I believe in it and yep karma's a b. emlaugh.gif

TheOaf66 replied: little signs like that make me believe in Karma

PrairieMom replied: I believe that you get what you have coming, but in the same hand, I love that you paid that waitress, and wish I would have had the same opportunity to do something like that. laugh.gif

sparkys2boys replied: as the saying goes what goes around comes around... i believe in karma.. but as you said you were a teenager when you did it!!!! I am sure that is was funny at the time though when you did that!!!! Do you think that they knew you asked the waitress to do this..lol??

lisar replied:
Oh yea he knows now. I told him. I didnt care.

TANNER'S MOM replied: I believe in what goes around comes around and I believe that you reap what you sow.. so in a way yes.. and I believe in Murphy's law.. that's how it always works for me...

Calimama replied: Oh yes, I totally believe in Karma.

kimberley replied:
i live, breath and eat karma right now blush.gif

Crystalina replied: Karma will bite you in the a@@ everytime! If I even stub my toe I do a mental scan as to what I could have done to deserve that. Yep, there is always a reason. happy.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: I believe karma is God's way of making you pay for your antics. smile.gif

luvmykids replied: I think wether you call it karma, laws of the universe, sowing and reaping, it all boils down to the same thing....you dish it out, you'll probably get it back at some point rolling_smile.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: basically iagree.gif

Lisa~ karma or not- at least it was water on you which can come out of clothes, whereas tea.... not so likely to come out that easily. wink.gif

redchief replied: Nope, don't believe in Karma. But I'd like to know how much your ex-boyfriend paid the waiter to dump a glass of water in your lap. biggrin.gif

msoulz replied: I believe in Karma because she is a person who works at my doctor's office and she is very helpful, so I believe in her!! tongue.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: I'm a big believer in karma.

lisar replied:
Oh he dont work there. And I know he would never in his life be able to afford to eat there. So it wasnt that. I just thought that was Karma's way of getting me back. If it was like I said it was so worth it.

redchief replied:
Hahaha... Do I believe in karma? Let's just say I believe that we'll all get what's coming to us. If that's karma, then I suppose I believe in it.
