I've just been super busy woith teh kids, adn getting everythgin ready.
I haven't had a chance to post much but here's teh scoop
I'm 3 cm 100% effaced and having contractions every 10 minutes.
Have been that way for 4 days now!!! UGH!
but I've finished teh nursery, and jsut need to get his dresser up here and his clothes in it (I bet tha's what he's waiting for!!)
I went to the Dr's todya for a check cause he was a bti concerned Tuesday that teh baby was SO LOW (-1 station) and the contractions weren't progressing. So I went back in adn my BP has started to go up slightly and the baby's heart rate is going down SO If i dont' have him on my own by sunday and the contractions are stil around, then he wants to induce Monday morning, as the heart rate will only continue to go down and it could get dangerous if it goes to low, I SOOOOO Wanted ot avoid an induction, but the lower teh heart rate goes, the higher teh risk of a c-section is. Which i absolutely do not want unless it is life or death situation. SO That's teh deal. I'm NOT HAPPY! But the Dr gave me a list of this that might kick up my contractions to be more productiove nadget my body past teh 3 cm. (Which is STILL where i was today!) SO I have l long walk to take, and then a hot bath and then some breast pump action to get in. ANd after that he suggested a coupel herbs that shold ge thtings going and as a last resort DH has a par to play BUT I really haev NO interest in that so we're hoping that somethign else will work....
OH and a bit TMI::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The last of my mucus thing is gone and I'm bleeding liek a period (which he siad is a result of being checked Tuesdya and Today (just started today) and it has pretty big clots in it.. so gonna watch that and see if it gets any worse or lightens up (it should lighten up.... but if not then I have to go back in)
OH and if the contractions stop ove rhte weekend then i can just have an appt monday and wait on teh induction if i want. BUT if they keep on every 10 minutes like they are then he feels that an induction would be bes tsooner rather than later. SO PLEASE SEND LABOR ON MY OWN VIBES!!! PLEASE!!!
I'll keep you posted ! and Dennis wil email birth news to Lisa (gr33n3y3s) and pictures when teh baby arrives. (OH and I'll post birth stiry adn nursery pics after he gets here )

booey2 replied: Thanks for the update. I just PM'd you, no need to reply to it now. ELV and another trick they told me was to lay in the tub on your left side. It helped me go from 2 to 7 while at home before going back to the hospital. Once I got there they couldn't even tell how far I was as my bag of waters was blocking the way, they had to rupture them to really see how far along I was. Take care and can't wait til we meet your little on.

I did that bleeding thing ALL DAY the day before I went into labor. If the herbs he suggested were blue/black cohosh - those are pretty helpful ...definately helped wtih Andy - and on the upside - I had VERY little bleeding after her birth...The doctor actually kept me a couple extra days because of it - turned out one of those herbs actually help dry up the placenta so you don't bleed as much. But they are not without thier risks.

That's what he told me too about the tub.. so gonn atry that once Dennis gets home, so I have help getting out! LOL
And the herbs were black cohash and clarey sage oil . (The oil you massage onto your uterus and ankles for calming and to strengthen the contractions.. and teh cohash drink in tea (but he wants me to try that last, as it can dry out hte placenta.. )
I'm using the sage oil and the other things.. butteh cohash is alast resort, maybe on sunday! LOL

I've been reading up on teh black cohash and I have a friend that is an herbalist and she' s going ot come oner later with some and tell me about it more in detail and give me the routine that she used for her last 3 kids.. all homebirth... so we'll see ! Thanks for the support and ELV ladies (I'm feelign really crappy about being induced again! )

I am so excited for you and your family.

Try not to worry too much about the induction or possible c-section. I know you have your heart set on a natural labor, but in the end it won't matter if you went into labor naturally, had an induction, or have a c-section... as long as you have your sweet bundle of joy in your arms. You are probably one of the most educated people I know when it comes to labor and PG... so I am sure when the time comes, you and your doctor will make the best choice for your situation.

I am sending you ELV!!! I can't wait for the update from Lisa.... I will be thinking about you all weekend!!!!
