Check out the ice hanging from my roof.

This last one was only a foot or two away from the ground.
Mommy2Isabella replied: That looks dangerous ... but cool
DillsMommy replied: Whoa!
mckayleesmom replied: Yikes..... I always call those the perfect muder weapons....
HuskerMom replied: Wow!
Crystalina replied: The kids are all upset because I won't let them eat them!!!! Yuck! I tried to explain to them that in order for those icicles to be there the water had to run off of our roof which means they might as well just lick the house. They don't care, they still want to.
Crystalina replied: OMG! You're right! The murder weapon would melt! I never thought of that.
not that I have anyone in mind....
Hillbilly Housewife replied: lol!!!
I was told once that the more icicles you get, the worse your insulation in your attic is. Your heat is escaping, which causes the snow to melt into icicles.
booey2 replied: Wow, they are more beautiful then the white fluffy snow we got last night. LOL
AlexsPajamaMama replied: My dad has major icicles at his house and so does mil
sparkys2boys replied: Those are huge!!! Dangerous but sooo pretty!
Teesa®© replied: They sure are pretty!!!!
If you want to knock them down safely, stand INSIDE your doorway and use a broom or something with a long handle to break them off. If you have a ladder, climb above them and knock them off that way.
A&A'smommy replied: UMMM that is really scary!!!!
My2Beauties replied: Those are so cool, I was knocking them off our house the other day, I love knocking them down. Ours were small compared to those though...whoa!
:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: Wow those are really cool looking!
lisar replied: Those are so cool looking.
jcc64 replied: We had those too- some were about 4 feet long. I let the kids beat them down with hockey sticks, which was incredibly satisfying for them. (my kids are older, btw)
