Calimama replied: Wow it's cute!!
My3LilMonkeys replied: Awwwww.....I say you should get it, then mail it to me. It looks so cuddly.
gr33n3y3z replied: I say get her if you have everything for her Thats what I want when we get the house done actually maybe 2 of them she looks so sweet
flirtycuddle replied: I actually went last night and picked her up after getting all the supplies. She is kinda skidish but I can understand that. I just took her from her mom and dad for the first time so of course shes a little freaked out. I got one of those pen things to let her run free for a little bit and she was going non-stop for a few hours. I named her Aphroditie lol. I was surprised that the lady adopting her out didn't charge what the pet stores are charging since she's not the typical grey color.
stella6979 replied: I've heard that chinchilla's make great pets for people who are allergic to animals, but my only question is......DO THEY BITE?
flirtycuddle replied: As far as I know they don't bite. This girl hasn't tried but I've only had her 24 hours or so lol. From what the breeder said her 15 have never bit lol so I guess just like any animal they can but its not likly lol.
luvmykids replied: Sooooo cute!!!!!!
gr33n3y3z replied: they are great pets they sleep all day and up all night like the rest of the rodents lol
They cant be exposed to high heats it will kill them I think its 80 and they hate noise
gr33n3y3z replied: Like any other pets they can bite but not likely unless they feel threatend they like to nibble on your fingers and hands its their way of getting to know you.
flirtycuddle replied: I was reading about them and it said they are more likly to spray then bite. Of course my new girl thinks my nails are chew toys since I have the acrylic nails lol. She is super hyper at night and amazinly isnt really noisy even. They love to chew and yes temps over 80 can kill them in no time. My house stays colder even in the summer and u can get the cool packs for the cages if need be. They dont like noise or light druing the day but perfer some type of noise at night like music or a tv in the back round.
