My mother's b-day is Christmas Eve, my dad's is on Christmas Day, as is Ethan's teacher and Maddie's teacher.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: DH's is the 22nd and he said no one ever made it to his birthday parties. And people would try to give him ONE gift as both xmas and birthday. Does that happen to you guys (your loved ones)? Makes me so sad.

Happens to my dad, people think they're clever when they give him a gift that says "Merry Birthday" or "Happy Christmas"

And DH, whose bday isn't until Jan 2 always gets stiffed...everyone is too broke after Christmas to get him anything good I've tried, but he still accuses me of just holding back one of his Christmas presents.

i know a lot of kwanzaa birthdays too
some kids' in my achool are the 25th

mom21kid2dogs replied: My mom is on the 20th, my sister on the 24 and my brother is on the 26. They all get gifts seperate from Christmas. If it were me, I'd change it to my half year birthday and celebrate in the summer. I think it's a total bummer but it doesn't bother them at all!

I found out my neighbor's birthday is the day after Christmas and he said his birthday was always celebrated.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Emilie is the 28th... and my MIL ALWAYS wraps her gift in christmas paper. At least everyone else has a separate gift for her...

Kaitlin'smom replied: I still get the short end or just forgotten and mine is on the 2nd of Dec. Kaitlin's is the 28th and I told my family they WILL NOT give her birthday gifts at christmas. If they can see her on or close to her b-day they can give them to me and I will hold them. So far its worked.

What's worse is my mom's name is "Mary Chris" (Like "Merry Christmas") She goes by Chris though, and doesn't tell many people that it's Mary. She is NOT a Mary
