MotherForever2043 replied: Maybe you could to a party store or something, and get a few small things and make them into little goodie bags. But, place them in gift bags (mini ones). Something like this:

amynicole21 replied: Several years ago I baked zucchini bread in tiny little bread pans and wrapped them in colored saran wrap. I've given cookies before, and one year did egg nog spike (yum!!) That was great! We used Grolsch beer bottles that have the attached cork on top.
Ingredients: 2 cups bourbon 1 cup dark rum 1 cup brandy 1 vanilla bean -- halved lengthwise 1 whole nutmeg 2 large cinnamon sticks 7 whole cloves
Directions:
Pour bourbon, rum and brandy into 1-quart bottle. Scrape seeds from vanilla bean into bourbon mixture; add pod to bottle. Using mortar and pestle or bottom of heavy small skillet, crack whole nutmeg into 4 or 5 pieces. Add nutmeg pieces, cinnamon sticks and cloves to mixture.
Cork bottle tightly. Let stand in cool, dark place for 1 week (Can be prepared 3 months ahead).
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Now that sounds yummy. I'd put it in my coffee, though. I'm not a fan of eggnog.
One of my favorite cheap gifts is this. I buy a bunch of cheap holiday coffee mugs and a few boxes of candy canes and cocoa mix pouches and some pairs of those small knit gloves. I put a pair of gloves, a pouch of cocoa and a candy cane in the mug and tie a small card to the handle that says, "Warm Hands, Warm Hearts"

Calimama replied: I love that idea!!
MoonMama replied: Oh I love that, so cute! Can I steal this idea? We have to do a bunch of little gifts that are the same for people DH works with.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Of course you can. I wouldn't have posted it otherwise.
lisar replied: I love it. Now I know what I am doing.
CantWait replied: Me too.
niacinamide replied: Here's a good gift idea: Outsourced. It's a little more than $5 for the DVD, but as far as DVD's go it's pretty affordable. I just saw this movie over Thanksgiving, my whole family watched it together (except the two kids under 10, they watched Finding Nemo instead). I was impressed because it's a very simple story (man gets sent to India for work, is a fish out of water, but then slowly falls in love with India as a culture, and an Indian woman) and from reading the synopsis I was groaning at having to spend my holiday sitting through it, but instead I was impressed, touched, and it made me laugh. The only person in the family who didn't like it was my trashy brother-in-law who blames that he can't get work on outsourcing... (incorrectly). Anyway, hope that helps.
