Corn up the nose......

She had smeared ketchup and corn into her hair and I was getting ready to clean her up but said something to DH first. I look over at Kylie and she has her finger in her nose and is whining. I said "Kylie that ketchup probably burns, get your finger out of your nose." She just kept her finger in her nose and started crying. So I get up to get a closer look and I look up her nose and there was a HUGE piece of corn up her nose. She started screaming and of course that flaired her nostrils and so it was starting to come out and I just pushed some more on her nostril and it popped right out.

Dh and I could not keep from busting up laughing. She of course was crying and felt so traumatized by it. I then took her to give her a bath from the mess she made in her hair and explained we do not stuff things up our nose.

I knew she'd do it someday...I just didn't know it would be now.

When I was in 4 th grade, we were planting corn in little pots for a project, and one of the boys put a piece of corn up his nose, the teacher freaked and sent him to thenurse!! I never forgot that becasue it was so funny at the time!!

I do the same thing when the girls do something like that that makes me laugh but you're trying not to... makes them so mad when you actually laugh at them lol. According to their Daddy back when he was still with their real mom the youngest one (when she was about a year old) ate cat turds out of the litter box... talk about disgusting. Just glad I wasn't there for that one lol.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: OMG, I'm sorry, but I can't help but laugh! Emily did the same thing when she was 2. DH took her to the movies and she stuck a popcorn kernal up her nose. Poor girl, I'm glad she is okay!

Virgomom20 replied: [COLOR=purple][SIZE=1][FONT=Arial][I]My daughter, Katrina, she's almost 2, and she was eating supper, and I had left the room for a moment and when I came back there was corn hanging out of her nose, so I pulled it out, and I looked up her nose and there was, eventually we got them out and there was 4 pieces stuck up her nose !!! I laughed about it afterwards, but I was scared that there was more up there that I couldn't see. Lucky there wasn't !

FroggyJK replied: I haven't had problems with my kids putting things up their noses, but a friend of mine had one that kept putting rocks up his nose. He got them stuck a few times and once they had to take him to the emergency room to have it removed.
