Cornered my cousin

I still don't know. I have been trying for days to get ahold of the deputy handling the case, but he never seems to be on duty. If I don't get ahold of him in the morning I am just going to make an appearance there. Right now he's supposed to be under quarantine, but my hubby drove by there again tonight & the dog is still outside on a chain. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that is what they mean by quarantine.

You're right. I understand you're dealing with family and all, but you may want to consider signing a complaint if you're unable to get hold of the deputy in the morning. JMO.

Its supposed to mean the dog is removed from the house and put in a shelter type place where they can watch it and run test on it.

JP&KJMOM replied: OMG I must have missed the post that she was un supervised when it happened. Like everyone else I am astounded that she thinks it is ok. Make that call to the deputy and tell them the dog is not in quarantine.

second did your cousin pay for the medical bills? do they own or rent the house?

she leaves her kids unattended? how old were the kids again? I am sorry but for me no matter what if a dog woudl be present NO child would be left unattended. Kids normaly do know what to do if a dog attacks, espically one they dont know.

She's doing good today. She finally got her stitches out today. I still have to watch the one on her cheek. Sometime in the night it busted so now it's leaking all the time. I know that's a good thing but it is so gross.

My cousins swears she is going to pay her medical bills. I haven't recieved one yet though to see for sure. If she doesn't within a reasonable amount of time I am going to take her to court on it. How long do you all think I should wait before I do that?

They all live w/ their Mom. I believe she owns her house.

There were 5 kids between the ages of 8 & 4. My 3 & her 2.
