I found out Tuesday morning that my great uncle passed away. I will be going with my family to his "wake/viewing" not sure what some people call it. We call it a "wake" in these parts.

I would not go because my great uncle caused me nothing but grief, 4 years ago. But I want go to support my cousin, my grandma, my dad and other family members.

I really have nothing to wear for the wake or the funeral. His funeral is tomorrow afternoon. But I think I found something. I love my grandma to death, but sometimes she makes kinda mean comments about my weight. So I am trying find something don't show my hideous stomach to much. I have a pretty nice tank top that is black and would go good with my pants I have. But I don't want hear any comments about my big fat butt.

Also my husband's aunt passed away yesterday. His parents are going to her funeral on Monday. My husband offered to take them since where they are going is about 5 hours away from here. They are making a trip up there and will be back same day.

One more thing, my one grandpa is not doing to good. My mom told me a couple weeks ago he has a bad heart. The doctors won't even tempt try to fix it. He don't have his drivers license anymore either. We are not to sure how much longer he will be with us on earth.

Kelly, you made me feel better. Though I don't think I am to much of a looker.

I wish this year would hurry up and end. It does seem like alot of bad things are going on in our family. I hope it will end soon.

& as far as anyone criticizing anyone for what they wear to a funeral...well, just respond by saying that she is class less. I'm sure you look great. Seriously, how many of us on this board don't have tummies? We are moms for crying out loud. No, I don't really like mine either but hey, if someone were so rude as to point it out at a funeral...well, I'm afraid I'd not be able to bite my tongue.
