Coupon Train

The way I understand that it works is that the first person on the list sends the coupons to the next person on the list. This person takes out the coupons they can use and then adds in any coupons that they don't use and mails it to the next person on the list. The person would have to sort through the coupons and mail them on the same day so that the coupons don't expire.

I thought about this today when I was cutting coupons and looking at all the coupons that I would throw away... I am sure someone could use them, especially all the pet, diaper, and products that are a different brand than what we use.

I am not sure how we would get started? Maybe start by seeing who is interested and then organizing by location... for example, if there are two people in the same state, the list should be organized so that they mail to each other before sending to someone in a new state.

I have lots of coupons to contribute, but I wouldn't have the time to organize the list.

So....
Is anyone interested in participating in the coupon train?

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I did this on my other board and I'm really not sure what happened to the coupons after they left me. I was the first one on the list. I think it is a great idea if everyone keeps it up.

I would be willing to do the list if we have enough people who are interested.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: If you are interested please PM me your name and address by Friday. That way we can get started. If you have coupons you want to add put them in a manila envelope and save them until the train gets to you. You can just add the coupons you get to your current envelope and mail them out.

I haven't looked at the coupons, but do they specify Canada or US? If so, then I would recommend starting another thread that reads Canadian Coupon Train. The other people from Cananda might not look in this thread.

I was just thinking that there may be coupons for specific stores that we don't have here (like Target for example)

Yes, a lot of them do say for use either in the continental USA etc or Canada. I have looked at the other freebie stuff the M2A puts on here and a lot of it is for the US only.
