Cousin's DIL's Baby Shower

grandma wrote: You guys, I went to my counsin's dil's baby shower Saturday and there were about 120 ppl there. It was at a very nice golf course country club, where a brunch was served. the food was awesome.
She finished opening the gifts at 1:30, it started at 10. She got so much, like enough for maybe three babies. She'll have to make several trips back to Babies R Us......
Oh and someone got the dad to be a gift, 'Dad's Tool Belt' complete with goggles, mouth mask, gloves, wipes, diapers...really cute!

It was really cute, my cousin said she found it at a craft store. The dad to be tried in on (with goggles and mask) and everyone took pictures....lol

mommy~to~a~bunch replied: Wow! Is it just me, or is that just way too much stuff? One baby doesn't need that much. Maybe a gift of housecleaning or cooking would've been more appropriate.

The mom to be has a huge Italian family. The wedding was just as big. With that said, the bride is really a sweatheart and took her time opening every gift with a personalized comment and thank you. It was a very enjoyable time.

That's good to hear. Sometimes you gotta wonder about people who receive so much stuff, if they are grateful or "spoiled". I'm glad she was very appreciative of everything she got. I think that is what is most important. Glad you had a great time grandma! Sounds like a blast, and that toolbelt is too funny.

Glad you had such a good time. Is this her first baby? It sounds like she got a ton of stuff, but I'm sure she will get lots of use out of it all.
