DH's/SO's motorcycle dreams??

C&K*s Mommie wrote: Chris does not own one, yet. He really wants to have a Honda Goldwing-- I would love for him to have one also. I have never been on a motorcycle period. So when that day comes we are goign to be two happy people! rolling_smile.gif But everytime he goes to friends houses that have them (theirs are similiar to his dream cruiser) he oogles & it makes him want his own that much more.

Does your DH/SO have hopes of owning a motorcycle one day? Or if he owns one, is that his DREAM bike??

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Dh wants one so bad and almost bought one about 6 months ago. I did talk him out of it as he was about to spend basically the last of our savings and we have nowhere to put it. His dream ??? medium bike it think smile.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: I think that is what you could classify his friends bikes as, medium. Big enough for me to feel comfortable, smaller than a Goldwing, but not a cr**ch rocket either.

If that were Chris and he was close to buying one, I am sure he would be happy in the end with it- but when he looked at it he probably would be guilty feeling too. And rightly so, if that were our savings he would have spent. wink.gif

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Aaron has no motorcycle dreams. But I do! I want a Harley, teal colored with chrome. blush.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Leithan does.....and he will probably get one some day, but I dread it..I will be on pins and needles knowing hes riding on a motorcycle.

moped replied:
SAme here - TOm has no dreams of that!

C&K*s Mommie replied: That would be a pretty color for a Harley. thumb.gif
I would go with a burnt orange or something subdued if I ever got one. With as much chrome as possible!!

holley79 replied: That's funny that you posted this Nicole. Shawn wants one really bad. He wants a crotch rocket though. rolleyes.gif I asked him if it was a midlife crisis and he told me "Nope I have a young wife and a new daughter now all I need is a motorcycle". rolling_smile.gif What a dork. LOL

luvmykids replied: Nope, he wants a corvette.

C&K*s Mommie replied: emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

MamaJAM replied: DH has no dreams or desires for a motorcycle. His brother has had a cycle since DH was a teenager...DH rode on it a few times back then and didn't really like it. BIL also got in a nasty accident many years ago -- that soured DH even more to the idea (which is fine by me).

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I have no idea if he wants one or not... but it's out of the QUESTION. dry.gif

DH has been in too many CAR accidents - I wouldn't want to see what would happen with a bike.

so NO WAY. And good luck getting it on his own... his credit is SHOT, I have to cosign everything we have, or get it on my own. SO there. tongue.gif

coasterqueen replied: Ryan used to have one when we were first dating. Ooh he was so sexy on one. tongue.gif He got rid of it soon after I got badly burned on the tail pipe rolleyes.gif but I don't think it was because of that. He's always wanted one, but I'm not sure what kind he wants. He has mentioned in the past of wanting another one, but not sure what kind.

I have hopes and dreams of a HARLEY, though. DH doesn't want a Harley. One of these days I'll get brave enough to go get a motorcycle license...when I learn how to drive one. laugh.gif

We'll have a motorcycle again someday but since it's not in the finances it won't probably happen til our kids are older and their college funds are secure.

I grew up on motorcycles pretty much so I LOVE them. thumb.gif

J-rod replied: i want one really really bad. i want a crotch rocket 750 or bigger.... but now i may never get one...cause i know i have a speed problem and am really gutsy when it comes to driving. now i have a family i dont want to take any risks that may take my life. i know if i get one i wont be able to do that. blush.gif

i rode my buddy's back in HS and wanted one ever since.

bikes are awesome, ive been on them since i was 3 with my dad. but never owned one.

C&K*s Mommie replied: Very commendable of you J-rod! thumb.gif
