Dagumit! - ruined my camera

I had taken the batteries of my camera and used it in one of the girls toys. I replaced them today, and I needed to reset the date/time in order to start taking pics again. After 5 mins of frustration with it, the lightbulb came on over my head and I opened the shell of it. Almost immediately the viewfinder turned to gray lines, and after more fiddling with it I cannot get the viewfinder to work right. It takes pics, but I have always used the screen to "see" the pics as they are taken. Now I am back at square one, and like the days before digi cams were made available I will be taking pics and hoping they turn out okay once they are loaded onto the computer. Getting them onto the computer is a whole 'nother 10min job, the USB cord takes fidgeting with to get it to work too. Thanks to the our dog chewing on the cord, that cait does not work right away like it should.

oh well, life goes on.

you're braver than me, i wouldn't take apart any of my cameras with a gun pointed to my head.

This year for christmas I would like a new camera..lol!!! Now hard is that!!! I think it's long over due!!

I have not posted about it, but with my car giving me fits now , I think the digi cam will have to wait for a bit. I have not told him about the camera yet, but in time I will. That is after my car is fixed.
