Dh is coming home for good tomorrow!
coasterqueen wrote: I am trying to be so excited that DH will be home for good tomorrow evening, but I'm bummed because all three of us girls are sick AGAIN! I'm starting to wonder if we should get in and get an antibiotic at this point. I'm so sick of the sickness! Poor Dh, in the environment he's been in (warm weather, etc, etc) he's sure to catch this nastiness from us.
Bah Humbug!
But I am truly excited he'll be home tomorrow evening. We pick him up from the airport at 5 pm tomorrow night.
KingMom replied: I am excited for you, I know you can't wait and the girls too I say go to doc and you should all feel better by christmas on the antibiotics, I wouldn't want them feeling bad over the holidays.
Congrats on your hubby coming home!
Kaitlin'smom replied: OH HOW exciting. I am glad he will be home for the holidays. I hope you all feel better soon, and hope he does not get sick himself
punkeemunkee'smom replied:
I bet he won't mind catching a bug just to get to see you and the girls! Yeah what a great Christmas present!
amynicole21 replied: That's so great! Truly a wonderful Christmas present. I bet he can't WAIT to sleep in his own bed
~Roo'sMama~ replied:
Wow that went by fast! Well it probably didn't seem fast to you. I'm glad he's finally coming home ~ and just in time for Christmas!
TsurugiButterfly replied: That's wonderful news! What a great thing to hear, right before Christmas, too!
5littleladies replied: Yay!! I'm so happy for you!! I can only imagine how excited you must be.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: That is awesome!! I am so Happy for you, that is truly a Great Christmas Present!!!
Insanemomof3 replied: Awesome!!!!!!
jcc64 replied: What a great Christmas present, to all be together again! So, I actually was going to post this morning and ask you how things turned out with Megan's ears. Is this still the same thing?
3_call_me_mama replied: YEAH!!! Boy that certainly went by fast.. (well probably not fo ryou guys!) but it seems liek just yesterday you were posting about him leaving! Glad he made it home in time for holidays!
coasterqueen replied: No, the doctor on Friday said her ears had a bit of fluid in them but nothing to be concerned about.
This is something different. We were all feeling fine late last week. Saturday morning Kylie woke up and was sneezing and snotty all day long. Sunday morning she woke up dry and congested. Megan and I woke up sneezing and snotty. Monday morning Kylie woke up with a croup cough and Megan and I were congested and I had a sore throat. Not sure if the girls did or not. My throat looks awful I know that. So then today Megan and I woke up with a croup cough, I still have a sore throat and Kylie is still croup coughing.
Megan sounds AWFUL as far as her cough. I feel lousy but am doing better than I could be. Kylie seems to be the only one not completely affected by this.
redchief replied: Yay! to the reunion! Sorry you're sick again though. Hope you have a miracle recovery... all of you!!!!
C&K*s Mommie replied: Best wishes for his safe return home to you all! And get well wishes for all of you, right now.
A&A'smommy replied: WOW that is awesome!!!!!! I hope you guys feel better before he gets home!!!
TANNER'S MOM replied: Oh I am so excited for you! I am just so darn happy!
I bet we can see momma kissing Santa Claus.. about 5 tomorrow~
Give him all our love and tell him how proud we all are of him!
CantWait replied: That's awesome, have a great time with him, and welcome him home for us.
I totally know what you mean by being sick with him home. The last two times Ron has left and come home, I've been sick
coasterqueen replied: Yeah I might be kissing Santa but that's about it. With this sickness I bet Santa won't even want that.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: He's coming home a lot earlier than I thought!
I know you must be THRILLED! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, but I'm so glad he will be home to take some of that stress off you. I bet you start feeling better in no time.
coasterqueen replied: Yeah, well he was scheduled to come home for a visit for Christmas, but then expected to go back after the new year. Well they reviewed his contract and agreed that his 90 day term would be up December 25 since he left on Sept 25. They normally don't count training towards the 90 days but they did in this instance. Not sure why, but I'm glad. Dh had also agreed that he was going to do an extra 30 days past his 90 days but this past month has been really rough on us all and he decided to come home when his original contract ends. We hope he doesn't get asked to go back, but if he does we'll deal with again.
Oh and he got to come home a few days before Christmas because he didn't take leave for Thanksgiving and the weekend we saw him before that his Officer (whatever they call them, lol) didn't count it towards him.
jem0622 replied: Wooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooo! I hope he gets home safely. And I hope the sick bus leaves your house soon!
HUGS
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: That's awesome Karen! Sometimes I like being sick with my DH...we get to snuggle on the couch and watch movies together! I know with little ones it's hard to do this, but it's just so great that you guys will finally be all together!
My2Beauties replied: YIPPEE! I am so happy for you Karen!
3xsthefun replied: That is wonderful! What a nice Christmas present!
kimberley replied: so glad he will be home tomorrow! sending lots of ~~get well/stay healthy~~ vibes.
ediep replied: yay!!! I am so excited for you
holley79 replied: That is wonderful Christmas news. I'm sorry you and the girls are sick again. I am very sure that even if you were not sick he would still get sick because of climate change. Use to happen to me when I would visit friends in Upstate NY coming in from FL.
to you all.
DansMom replied: Yay!!! And Karen, you did it. You made it through! It was a struggle, for sure, but you must feel now like you can handle almost anything (yet relieved that you don't have to). I hope this virus goes away quickly.
coasterqueen replied: Tracy,
You are right, I feel like I can handle a lot more than I ever have in the past. I told DH last night I have a bunch of errands for him to run tomorrow with both girls and asked him if he could handle it. He of course said yes, but as I sat there and read what I typed to him I realized that 3 months ago I would have been completely frazzled to do all that stuff with 2 kids. I have no fear now.
