Diarrhea and teething...

I know several people whose babies are teething right now and they also have diarrhea (these babies live no where close to me they are on another board). I was just wondering if any of you experienced the same thing.

kit_kats_mom replied: K always did. Not really diarreha but more "loose stools".

Mom2Boyz replied: Conner didn't have any loose stools with his bottom teeth, but with these last 4 that have come in on top he's had it bad!!!!

A&A'smommy replied: Alyssa never did (not so far anyway) but I did when i was a baby and I totally believe it, its painful and a lot is going on with their little bodies!

ctymom replied: My daughter just went through this again with her right side molars. I had to change her 6 times in one day along with her clothes b/c it was so much. I made sure she had alot to drink to make up for it. She also gets a firey red rash that looks so painful.

This has happened with each tooth breaking through. It's awful. I've read that babies get diarrhea with teething. Some docs are saying it's a myth? That's weird.

5littleladies replied: All 3 of my girls had diarreah while teething. It really is ridiculous that doctors don't acknowledge it.

Kaitlin'smom replied: never got it but i believe it can happen, just like when kaitlin was breaking her molers in she got a fever, something else docs dont want tto say could happen

mama3x replied: Neither of my 2 have had diarrhea or any other symptom (fever, rash) while teething. Only chewing on things and a hard time sleeping.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Claudia always got diarrhea really bad when she was teething. She also got a lot of ear infections when she was teething too.

My2Beauties replied: Hanna didn't get diarrhead but has fevers and sleep problems, oh yeah and a runny nose! Each child is different and I've heard of this before too, I don't think it's a myth...Doctors..what do they know
