Did anyone watch the Apprentice? - It was unfair
TANNER'S MOM wrote: I so wanted Jennifer M to win. I felt like she got totally bashed. I felt like she did a good job, and it was unfair. I liked Kelly, and was rooting for him, but then had to completely change for the under dog?
Any one else?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I missed their last challenge so I can't say whether it was fair or not, but I thought Donald chose Kelly for all the wrong reasons. He really didn't give a good explanation of why he chose Kelly over Jennifer.
MomToMany replied: I didn't watch it, but was ticked off when I went to turn ER on, and it wasn't there!
I hate reality shows!
mummy2girls replied: I did watch the last challenege. They both did great jobs but both also did lots of mistakes with thier jobs. I was rooting for jennifer also. And the reasonign trump made didnt make sense. He said he didnt think kelly would be a good leader even with his military background but chose him anyhow...wierd. and the way he worded it towards jenn its like he was teasing her. but what ever!
kit_kats_mom replied: I think that Jenn M was undeserving. She seemed very childish, she never let anyone get a word in, she used her looks to get by and she had no corporate experience.
jcc64 replied: As usual, Cary and I are on the same page. I found her incredibly abrasive, bitchy, and unable to get along with others. If you want to succeed in business and get people to do their best work for you, this is not the way to get it done. Kelly was smoother, steadier, less nakedly obnxious and egomaniacal. It seemed the only way Jen was capable of being charming was when she was exploiting her appearance- and as a business woman I find that really offensive.
5littleladies replied: I didn't like Jennifer at all. Like Cary said-I thought she was very childish and she displayed a severe lack of leadership skills. Kelly was far more qualified for the job and proved it over and over. I did feel bad for Jen though-She must have felt terrible that nearly every person questioned chose Kelly over her.
I must say though that I think Kelly pales in comparison to Bill (last years winner). I love Bill!
mammag replied: I was glad Kelly won. I didn't think Jenn did a good job in the last challenge and there were a lot of other things that bugged me about her. I can't say that using her appearance was a problem to me because of the nature of the show. It's a little different than if she were a working executive of a company. If she were working as an executive I don't think she would be parading around the streets selling candybars in the first place. I just think Kelly was a much better leader and did a lot better on all the challenges.
The preview for the new one looks really interesting!
jolene555 replied: Maybe it's just me but I don't think either of them are worth their weight in dog crap.
Jennifer, to me, seemed completely airheaded and bitchy.Remember the Levi's task where she couldn't figure out the wheel idea, and then chimed in during the presentation and STOLE all the credit??? That made me dislike her right there. Very glad she did not win, even though I think she out-shined Kelly in the last task.
As for Kelly . . . he's definately no leader. He had absulutely no control over his staff, and the only reason I think anything got done is because Elizabeth took charge of a lot, and Raj has too big of an ego to fail. Kelly shows no attention to detail - he didn't clear the field painting with the guy in charge, didn't meet with VIPs, didn't make sure that the incoming star had somewhere nice to get ready, didn't make sure the seating was clean for these very picky, very rich people. I'm sorry, but what exactly was he doing instead??? I'm glad he chose the New York job so that Trump is right there to babysit.
Personally I was rooting for Maria. I think she was the only one there with any respectable qualities. She was kinda pushy and controling, but I think that's a CEO qualification.
ediep replied: I completely agree!!!
Kila replied: I was all for Kelley. 110%. I didn't see the remainder of the challenge last night but I just thought that Jen flew under the radar too much in the other tasks. Especially the Levi one. That really annoyed me! There was just something about Jen that rubbed me the wrong way.
Alice replied: I was happy to see Kelly win. I think he seems like a very decent human being, willing to work hard and learn, not afraid to do more than his share. He worried about his teammates getting enough sleep. He refused to put down his opponents; he would only talk about his own strengths, not their weaknesses. And call me a sap, but I loved that he held the doors and the chairs for each of the women. He did a great job mediating the conflict between Elizabeth and the guys. When asked whether he disliked Raj, his response was "not after today" or something similar-- he's very willing to give credit where it's due.
Jennifer on the other hand seemed like a conniver. She was pretty much useless on that last task... asking the client what they wanted instead of having some ideas of her own. She delegated wayyy too much of the important things-- like talking to the NBA and the clients. I disliked the way she talked about Kelly "be a man"... could he have gotten away with challenging her to "be a woman"??? I doubt it. And for someone who was at the top of her classes at Princeton and Yale, she sure had a hard time with that Levis circle graph!!
I think Kelly's reasons for staying in NY made a lot of sense too. Las Vegas probably would have been lots more glory, away from Trump and more on his own. But he wanted to learn, so he chose NY. You've got to respect that.
I did feel badly for Jennifer when they couldn't find anyone who wanted her to win. It was nice of John (I think) to give her praise when he could have used the air time to inflate his own ego or resume.
chloe&tysmommy replied: I sooooo agree with you Cary!
Jen was all talk and no action!!!!
