Did you get anything for Easter?

Last year we made Easter baskets for each other and hid them but this year we didn't have any extra money and it didn't seem like a big deal.... but I realized today that this was the first time in my life I didn't get any candy on Easter! I'm really hungry for a chocolate bunny so I'll probably buy one on clearance if there are any left.

LOL my mom made me an easter basket the first few years after I moved out too. But it's been like 3 years since I was home for Easter cuz we always end up doing it with my in-laws. I miss it... she always made good easter baskets!

mammag replied: We don't buy anything for eachother at Easter. My mil gave me a wind chime and candle. They were cute.....I'd bet anything someone in her church group gave them to her that morning. She is notorious for regifting and even gave me some bath soap I gave her for the Christmas before on the next Christmas.

My2Beauties replied: Brian's mom made us a big easter basket and my mom gave us a card with $25 in it

taylor&zachsmom replied: I have been married for 12 years now and my Mom makes me a easter basket every year. This year she gave me "Incredibles" the cartoon & "Bambi" cartoon. (2) $15 gift certificate books for movies. A $30 gift certificate to a Restraunt here in town. $20 for a babysitter (so we can use the movie and restraunt certificates).

My dh didn't get anything for me. But, then he didn't get the kids anything for the kids either (I had too).

JetsMama replied: No nothing at all from DH for Easter. And guess what today is my birthday and he even forgot until he was on the way to work. So unless he shops on his lunch I may not get anything for birthday either . Oh well I am 34 today so I have had enough birthdays. LOL

This year we went to IKEA and i picked out some stuff for my place...decorative stuff... one things was... a glass vase and i filled it with red sand and a candle...

and the other was... a square glass vase with red rocks to go it it and 3 lucky bamboo plants...
