Did you get your little ones anything - for Valentine's Day?

Kirstenmumof3 replied: DH got her a little valentine mug with a stuffed Elephant inside. The older 2 got chocolates and on Wednesday we are taking them to McDonalds for supper. We're flat broke and my poor DH didn't get anything for Valentines.

TANNER'S MOM replied: My children all got something small and some candy. Plus the stuff we had to purchase for them to take to school!

My children all drew me something, or left me a love message which is worth more than anything.

loveydad replied: I had to be In Nampa anyway THANK GOD and I'd had the florist shop send three balloons (two for the twits and one for hen..) and left the little kids candy. I got Clara and Carter a toy though.

MomToMany replied: They each got a little box of chocolates (well, not Kayla!). I got a Valentine from Ethan. It was SO SWEET, I didn't even know he could write "Mom". I got all teary-eyed from that!

coasterqueen replied: Kylie got a giant lollipop (no I didn't let her have even a 1/4 of it ) and a Carebear coloring book.

We just don't do much for V-day. She also got a gift bag at the sitter that I put together for all the kids for their party yesterday. It had some little toy heart gun thingy (which they had a blast with), a pencil, erasers, candy, and stickers. So she got that too.

akbutterfly83 replied: we didn't know what to get Mason for his first v-day, so we just got him a stuffed animal- it was a puppy with a red bow around the neck.....

but next year we will get something differant.....

texasp3 replied: It wasn't until I was picking Michael up at school that I realized this is the first year in forever that I DIDN'T get him something. I think it's because DH isn't here right now. Usually I make a little Valentine gift bag for each of them and have it waiting at their place at the breakfast table.

On the way home, he did talk quite a bit about all the chocolate he saw changing hands at school that day. He would NEVER say anything to me about not having done something for him... not directly... I think that was his way of saying "What about me?"

Anyway, I feel sort of rotten for not having continued the tradition with him! Just because he's 15, doesn't mean I should stop doing sweet things for him.

*sigh*

Okay, now that I type this I'm feeling TOTALLY CRUMMY ... I really feel like I need to do something for him.

Sunflower04 replied: I got Joey a box of chocolates. I was going to get him a toy or something but I still have a bunch of toys in his closet from Christmas that aren't even opened that I had stashed since he has so much.

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley got a helium filled Valentine balloon (she loves balloons) and a little heart shaped purse that zips, and was filled with marshmellow hearts. She was more excited about giving Daddy his present than anything else.

JJJ replied: We got our DD a Wiggles DVD, a chair, and we went on the strip for brunch. She loves all the lights and sounds. Later we made lemon cakes together...mmmmm

3_call_me_mama replied: DH did the gift buying, cameron gto a littel cup that said puppy love on it with a crazy straw adn dalmations on it, and a chocolate frog wiht gummy bugs inside it (gross!) and some chocolate hot wheel tires adn a card. Kathleen got a card and a stuffed bear that she LOVES to chew on.
