Dinner theatre anyone?
coasterqueen wrote: Has anyone been to a dinner theatre before? We were invited to one at a winery in a few weeks - it's a murder mystery! I was reading more about it online and the actors will mingle with the guests (us) before the show and get volunteers to help play out the murder mystery. How fun! The only bad thing is I said ok to our friends w/o knowing the tickets are $40 a person. Yikes! Still sounds like a lot of fun!
TheOaf66 replied: they are fun, I have only been to one of them but I thought it was really cool
amynicole21 replied: We've been to two, and they were a major disappointment. We left one early because we just couldn't stomach it anymore! And the food was AWFUL ($60 a pop for us!)/
I think it all depends on where you go. I hope yours is better than ours!!!!
luvmykids replied: I've only been once and it was great, a lot of fun
coasterqueen replied: Oh dear! Hopefully it will be fun. We are going with several other couples who can usually make anything a load of fun, so hopefully that ends up being the case.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: We have one here in town that's doing "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" right now. They typically run 5-7 different shows per year. I always have a really fun time. Go. You'll enjoy it.
CantWait replied: I went to one along time ago while in Washigton and it was great. Both the entertainment and the food.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I went to one at Dave and Busters a couple of years ago. It was also a murder mystery and was a lot of fun. Their food is excellent there, too. It was well worth the $$$
A&A'smommy replied: OH its going to be worth it I have always wanted to go to one of those!!! I can't wait to hear ALL about it!!
gr33n3y3z replied: I always wanted to go to something like that Lets us know how it went
lovemy2 replied: We went to one on New Year's Eve - it was called Joey and Maria's Wedding - a good old fashion italian wedding - it was a TOTAL ball and we would love to do it again - the "wedding party" were hilarious and the two families were great too - lots of good food and good drink - you will enjoy it - there is also one that comes around here called The Irish Funeral
bawoodsmall replied: I work at a Golf Club and we have had many of them. Our members have always enjoyed them. When I waitressed I got a chance to see some of them and I thought they were really good. I hope you have fun. I would about croak having to pay $80.00 however.
lesliesmom replied: I love dinner theatre. That's how I met DH. I was in a production and he was running lights. They are fun and generally the food is really good too. At least the ones in my area. Have fun! I'm jealous.
flirtycuddle replied: Lovemy2 we acutally have that playing here in town in Vegas now. We have it at work discounted and we all thought it was another tony and tinas wedding lol. There are a few of them that play in Vegas and so far they have all been really good and worth the cash. 40 isnt a lot to pay for that type of show either.
Twelve Volt Man replied: We've been several times and have always loved it.
Calimama replied: That sounds cool!!
