Do You Snoogle?

Twelve Volt Man wrote: My wife is 23-1/2 weeks pregnant and is beginning to have trouble sleeping, tossing and turning all night. This, in turn, affects MY sleep, and that is totally unacceptable! wink.gif In my quest for a good night's rest, I came across this:

It's called a "Snoogle." It looks like it might help her, since she's constantly got a pillow stuffed between her knees, anyway. Has anyone used one, and if so, is it worth the $70.00 it'll cost me to buy online and have shipped? Thanks!

mom2my2cuties replied: It looks similar to a body pillow. I used one of those (the body pillow) constantly when I was pregnant because the full length made it easy to tuck a pillow between my knees and under the baby to help support her. Of course, I am short so a $5 body pillow worked. If your wife is petite I would consider that before spending $70. And I bet it would have the same effect.

CantWait replied: Body pillows here cost about $25 or so, I would definetly try that first. They are a bit smaller, but still about triple the size of a regular pillow.

stella6979 replied: I agree. You can find similar pillows that aren't nearly as expensive. To answer your question, though, I did use a body pillow during my pregnancy, and it helped tremendously.

michmom replied: How cool is that? I have seen body pillows, but I haven't seen this before.

DillsMommy replied: Thats pretty cool, it's worth a try especially if she's a side sleeper. Looks comfy. I'd probably try a body pillow first though. $70 is a lot of money for a pillow, if it doesn't work. wink.gif

My Dh bought me a body pillow for my 2nd pg, and he got more use out of it than I did. I was just not used to sleeping with pillows between my knees, and he is- so it worked for him better than me.

Grow to Sleep pillow

I LOVE it. It is so much better than the regular body pillow I used with my first pregnancy. It twists easily so it makes it much easier to place it where you need/want it. Love, love, love it. Its been worth every penny.

redplaydoh replied: I have a snoogle. although I paid $100 for mine. I used it during both pregnancies, I used it to nurse the boys... hated the Boppy after using this. I still use it occasionally and the boys love to snoogle in it. I would say it was worth 10X what I paid for it.... I absolutely love my snoogle.

stella6979 replied:
WOW! That thing looks so comfy!!!!!!

jem0622 replied: I have seen them. I just had a body pillow on either side of me and that solved the problem. tongue.gif

Calimama replied: I had one similar, and it didn't help. It was a waste of money for us, but I was so uncomfortable I was willing to try anything. I used to wake my husband up accidently but he would just offer to rub whatever hurts. wink.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have bought 3...1 for each pregnancy. They are AWESOME and the onky thing that allowed me to be comfy in bed. Now 5.5 months later I still sleep with mine and dh sleeps with it during the day (he works nights) on his days off we fight over it. It was also an awesome nursing pillow.

eta> BRU has them for $35

gr33n3y3z replied: I would get the snoogle over a body pillow

Boo&BugsMom replied: Oh WOW! I could totally use one of those! I say go for it. You're wife will love you for it!!!

Twelve Volt Man replied:
What is BRU?

And thanks for the help, folks. I think I'll give it a try.
