Do You have a Weight Scale In Your Home?

Kirstenmumof3 wrote: Just curious. We don't have one and I want to buy one. Which kinds are the best?

CantWait replied: I have 2. A regular blah one. And a blah one. One that measures weight, body fat, and water percentage.

Calimama replied: Nope, I'm getting one this weekend actually!

coasterqueen replied: I have two as well. The old dial kind that you have to sorta decipher your weight and the other one I have is digital which tells you pounds and ounces. I like that. It also does other stuff, but 1st thing on Friday morning when I'm really tired I'm doing good just to read what I weigh on that day. laugh.gif It does tell me how much I've lost since I first got on the scale (when I bought it) so I know how much I've lost since a certain time. That's a nice feature too.

lesliesmom replied: We don't own one. DH doesn't want one either. We do have his WeightWatcher scale he uses for AtWorks but that only comes in the house once in a while.

Calimama replied:
Wow I didn't know they could measure all that! huh.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: yep digital that only does weight

hoosier momma replied: I have a cheap digital. It only does your weight.

Cece00 replied: Yep, just a regular one. But I didnt have one for YEARS. I think I got this one a yr ago.

booey2 replied: We do have one and it is ancient. It used to belong to my FIL and is a dial one that doesn't go up high enough for me. So I only WI once a week at my meetings. I would like to get one of the Weight Watchers ones when I get to goal and convince DH that we need one. LOL

HuskerMom replied: We have one but I never use it smile.gif

holley79 replied: I wish I did. I had one but it quit working and I have yet to replace it.

Twelve Volt Man replied: We have one, but the darn thing constantly reads about 10 pounds more than it should. I've tried to explain that to my wife, but she insists it's accurate and that I just need to cut back on my beer intake.

redchief replied:
Exactly why I won't buy one. The darned things are always reading too heavy.

luvmykids replied: No. If my jeans feel snug I know I need to lay off the brownies for a night or two emlaugh.gif . Once in awhile I weigh myself at my mom's but my weight hasn't changed enough in the last year or two to even bother with that.

eta: How in the world can a scale tell you your body fat? huh.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: We have a WeightWatchers brand one and it's about time I suck it up and get on it. tongue.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I have a digital one that measures your body fat also. Actually it just broke a couple weeks ago though, and I'll probably replace it with a digital scale that only measures your weight - I never really used the body fat thingy.

Nina J replied: We have a digital one. I havn't weighed myself in a while. My OB told me to put on weight at my last appointment, so I've been eating alot..I think I'll just wait until after I have the baby to weigh myself again wink.gif
