Do you dance with your baby?

MommyToAshley wrote: I don't think I walk any more. If I have Ashley in my hands, we dance to where we need to go. If there is no music playing, then we sing. LOL

And, whenever she hears music (her toys, commercial with a song, the radio, anything) then she has to "shake her booty" Well, you can't help but to shake it with her.

So, with all that hip shakin goin' on, you would have thought I lost more weight by now! LOL

Just wondering if anyone else's baby loves to dance this much?

booey2 replied: Guess you can add both my boys to you dance party. If we play and music, especially dance club music with a heavy beat, Thomas will stop what he is doing and as Sean Paul would say "Shake tat ting". (he is one of latest singers out there today). I will try and get a pic of him shaking his ting.

Mommieto2Girls replied: Maddie loves to shake her booty, I walk around the room singing and dancing for her and she just laughs at me. When she hears music she sits there ang starts wiggling . She's so cute when she does that. wub.gif

jdkjd replied: Bailey and I were doing the "Heeeyyy, Hoooo, Heeeyyy, Hoooo" dance last night. She seemed to enjoy it.

MommyToAshley replied: LOL! Too Cute! Everyone, I love the baby dance stories!

Booey2, can't wait to see the pic.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: *I* don,t dance, because the ONE time I did, DH laughed at me, and so I don,t do it anymore. I'm hardly ever home alone. When I'm there, DH usually is there too...and he follows me around like a little puppy dog.

jk...

...it's more like a 5 year old hanging on my skirt asking lots of questions.

If, per chance I am home alone with Zach, I entertain him with silly songs and moves.... but I,m too self concious, I won't dance. lol!

booey2 replied:
I'll try and borrow the neighbors digital camera and have something up this weekend.

booey2 replied:
I used to be like that, but not anymore, 46 pounds can sure make a difference in ones self consciousness.(sp??)

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I agre with the weight issue..... I USED to weigh 150 way back, and I went down to 125. You can imagine I was showing it off! tongue.gif

Now... I'm embarassed to show it off. While I don't really have rolls and rolls...my butt is large, and my thighs rub together when i walk. People my age give you funny looks when you show your stretch marks because of a small shirt or something.... so I'm waiting until after this pg to lose mucho weight. I really DON'T care about the stretch marks, I just want to be able to cross my legs without having my ankle by my knee. KWIM?

MamaMartie replied: wavey.gif We all like to dance here. The older kids have "dance parties." Meggie, the 4 year old, brings down her Barbie radio and she & her brothers dance in front of the big screen tv. They love to watch their reflections in that thing. It is really cute to watch.

In the winter, dance parties are one of our biggest form of excersise. It is amazing what a work out you can get from dancing... or maybe it is just me getting old. I cannot believe that 15 years ago I could dance for hours on end like it was nothing.

Hannah & I like to slow dance, especially at night when we're the only ones up. It is soothing for her and me plus keeps me wake.

My dh usually breaks into a silly dance once a night. He'll be making dinner or something & just start dancing. The kids totally crack up. rolling_smile.gif

supermom replied: Yes, and I am extremely good at embarassing the crud out of my kids - lol - But Anders loves to dance, and he will go into his sister's room and boogy with her a lot - it's really cute!

CantWait replied: Yup, Robbie and I were big dancers when he was younger, but now that he's older....I think it's a little embarrassing to dance with mommy.
Enjoy it while you can biggrin.gif
