Do you...... - editing posts

CantWait wrote: I don't, I don't really feel the need to, I would hope that I could be trusted enough that I wouldn't have to explain why I choose to either correct my spelling, grammer, or wording.

So do you?

Crystalina replied: No, I don't expain either. I figure It's my business. wink.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: Sometimes, but not always. A lot of times I edit because I hit reply and immediately think of something else to say so I just edit instead of replying again.

MommyToAshley replied: I do sometimes. I am usually doing more than one thing when I am posting on here so I make A LOT of errors. If I catch the error right away, I don't say why I have edited it. But, if I go back at a later time and read it, I am usually embarrassed by my errors. When I edit, I put the reason because I hope the people that read the thread before realize I am not a total idiot. :blush.gif LOL!

Crystalina replied: Sometimes the mods do it for me rolling_smile.gif ...they always pm and explain. blush.gif

1lilpeanut2love replied: I hardly ever edit. I only usually edit something if my wording is off or if I misspelled something!! smile.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Sometimes. Usually only if I'm editing to add something that I thought of after I've already hit the reply button. I have explained a couple times when I just edited for spelling or something like that but I don't always. wink.gif Most of the time I use the google bar spell checker before I hit reply though so I don't have to edit it later. tongue.gif

CantWait replied:
Hey I just noticed that at the top of my screen blink.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied:
Lol... I love it. thumb.gif

luvmykids replied: Sometimes I do, but I don't really know why! I guess because when I was new I noticed a lot of people doing it and thought it was a rule, now when I do explain I think it's just out of habit.

C&K*s Mommie replied: dito.gif I try to use the preview button first, but sometimes I hit reply, then read then edit. But most of the time I just use ETA after I want to add something that might change my thoughts somewhat.

CAMSMOM1 replied:

dito.gif I do the same thing. Usually it's for spelling errors, or I wasn't making any sense in what I wrote. I always notice it after the fact. But I should try the preview post first.

I voted for "sometimes" cause it just depends on the topic, and what I wanted to add.

mom89 replied: I don't feel the need to either...

Edward's Mommy replied: Sometimes because I either forgot something or I made a mistake. blush.gif

3xsthefun replied: I think I have a couple times. But usually if I edit my post I notice I misspelled something or worded something wrong. So I go back and edit it. I have bad habit posting before I read what I wrote.

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I dont explain either, usually I edit for simple spelling errors. If its a word I know I dont know how to spell I Google it first, but sometimes I accidently spell something wrong!!

booey2 replied: I usually ony explain or use it when I am adding something to a post. smile.gif

luvbug00 replied: I edit because I

A. said somthing stuiped
B. read somthing back and it didn't sound right...mean, rude etc..

Kaitlin'smom replied: sometimes

coasterqueen replied: I voted sometimes. I never feel the need to explain why I do but if I'm in the mood I'll explain. happy.gif

Bee_Kay replied: I sometimes explain because....

sometimes I'll write a post.... and not realize a mistake until after I KNOW some people have read it..... therefore no confusion as to why my post has changed to those who have already read it or replied to it.

JP&KJMOM replied: Sometimes but mostly mine is for spelling cause I don't type as fast as I think! rolling_smile.gif

BAC'sMom replied:

And I think faster than I type. rolling_smile.gif
