redchief replied: I honestly don't. I try hard not to take anything that's said here personally. I also keep in mind that this is and internet forum and there are a lot of different ways of looking at almost any topic, and keep that in perspective.

I subscribe to and visit many other forums, from gaming to politics, and believe me, this one is mild in comparison.

That's a good perspective to have Ed. After 3 and a half years here, sometimes I feel like this is home and my second family and not just the internet.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I fully agree with Ed. Although I do not visit gaming or political sites. I do visit other parenting sites, and they are as friendly as here. Nothing abrasive or personal can be taken from here or anywhere on the net when others are not in your life IRL.

Marie, I certainly understand what you're saying. I have to admit to a more personal connection to this board than the others I mentioned earlier. The humanity here shows through much more transparently, and I too have come to "know" a lot of the people here. It's a (maybe fortunate) fact of my life that I'm way too busy to overly occupy myself with the minor goings on. I simply don't have enough time to let the topics really get to me.

When people here have problems, I do think about and pray for them, but I don't consider that stress as I said before. Therefore it doesn't make me tired.

Now when you women keep me up half the night in chat; then I get tired!

My2Beauties replied: I'm exhausted just waking up in the morning anymore Let alone getting on here or on any site for that matter, it involves my brain to actually function and that isn't working well lately neither.....this 1st trimester is a pain in the you know what!
