Do you fart in front of DH/SO? - Or hold it in?
~CrazieMama~ wrote: I saw this on another board and man was it funny. So, I am curious now...lol
When I was married, I could never fart in front of him. But he made sure he let em' rip anywhere and made sure it was loud. Like in bed laying there and trying to go to sleep....he would rip one and then pull the blanket over my head. Now that is just gross!!!!
jcc64 replied: I can't for the life of me understand how you could spend your entire life holding in farts in front of dh. I mean,if you can't relax at home, where can you?! We probably spend 30% of our time together laughing at each others' farts! My grandfather once said, "where ever you may be, let your wind go free."
DansMom replied: Silent but deadly here. I can let them go without a sound, but it's not long before DH notices and makes a smart remark!
jen replied: OH MAN! My DH and I think that is our main source of entertainment sometimes. He is blessed with pretty much being able to do it on command! LOL! So when I get the chance I don't hold back and it is so much more funnier when I do it!! Sometimes if he is on the computer I jsut walk in there to Crop Dust his working space! Then I am in the living room LMAO!!!! Waiting for him to notice what I did! That is so gross!!! I can't believe I am posting this! But I think it is funny! And being pregnant if I didn't have a sense of humor about farting out loud, I would be in BIG TROUBLE!!!!
Kaitlin'smom replied: thankfully I dont have much gas, but I do let them go infront of him....its the slient ones that he notices more LOL
~CrazieMama~ replied: omg, funny!!!!
coasterqueen replied: Okay, I definately can't work with posts like these! LOL! I am roflmbo! We fart in front of each other. We've been together for almost 12 years, I can't hide them forever, lol.
When DH and I were first dating and we would be in the car going somewhere, Dh would roll the window down every once in awhile and it took me a long time to figure out that he was doing that cuz he had to fart.
~CrazieMama~ replied: Gotta bring humor into a day....
jen replied: That is so sweet! Josh is cruel! I hear a click and an evil laugh and that is him locking my window so I can't get it down!!!!! Then he usually shuts off the AC! He is really sick!! haaaaaaaaaa!
Kaitlin'smom replied: thank you!
booey2 replied: Thanks for the laugh when I really needed one today. Now that you mentioned the "g" word I must confess that we do this a lot. Tuesday night, because I am eating so heathily that I am very gassy these days, Matthew didn't not want me to put him to bed because in his words I am "stinky" so daddy got to do that duty. He asked me last night if I was okay and I said yes. So back to my I job I go. He is just too funny.
MomToMany replied: Gosh NO! I go to a different room! DH isn't ashamed to let them rip anywhere, even in public ! It's SO embarrassing to be around him sometimes, and people look at ME like I did it !
chloe&tysmommy replied: OMG! I am laughing MAO right now....what a good post!
This is so embarrasing but I do it more than dh! haaaahaaaa Honestly I think I inherrited it from my mom. I've been doing it a lot more lately now that I'm pregnant (don't know why) I can't help but laugh everytime too!!! When my dh does fart-- look out-- b/c it lingers in the air for at least an hour after whew! It sure does make for great entertainment though
Jamison'smama replied: My goodness--funny topic. Nope--no gas in front of DH--maybe one or two times by accident in the amost 13 years we've been together. He on the other hand has been a little more free--but still not much!
Looks like we are missing out on some fun times
5littleladies replied: LOL I can't believe you posted this. I am embarassed to say that we do "let em' rip" in front of each other. And yes-it is a source of amusement for us. You guys are too funny!!!
MommyToAshley replied: LOL!
Yup, DH and I both fart in front of each other too. His are much much louder... it almost sounds like a duck quacking (sorry honey) I am the strong silent type, LOL!
coasterqueen replied: OMG! I am just rolling on this topic! I don't know how some of you don't do it in front of your spouse. Course I don't seek and destroy him with them, but if I'm in the room and got to, I go with it.
jen replied: I am Laughing so hard!!! Josh is going to die! when he sees my posts about him!!!!! He is modest to others just tortures me! HAAAA!
~CrazieMama~ replied: lol, i haven't stopped laughing for very long after I posted this..lol
Kaitlin'smom replied: this is sooo funny! My DH only seems to seek and destory when his mother is around....he used to love to rip them in her small office shut the door and when she would open it whhhoooo watch out toxic fumes! It was sooo funny!
jen replied: Sad to say but i can't imagine how crude little Maddy is going to be!!! Josh will fart really loud and then point at my Belly and say MAAAAAAAAAAADDY!! ha ha! He will have to clean up his act if we want her to be lady like!!!!
amynicole21 replied: I try very hard not to let go in front of DH, only because then I can curse him out for doing it in front of me They are HORRIBLE!!
~CrazieMama~ replied: lol, everyone!!!!!
chloe&tysmommy replied: I'm totally rotflmao at all of these posts
~CrazieMama~ replied: I wasn't sure how this post would take off. But my goodness, you all are funny!!!!
MomToJade&Jordan replied: LOL!!!!!! I love this topic. Yes we do let em rip in front of each other. Mine are usually silent, but oh so deadly and DH he must have some kind of problem because his could peal the paint off the walls. His favorite thing to do is lto fart while we are in bed and then wave the covers so the stench can waft into the air. I am suprised at my fortitude because some of his farts would make a weaker person pass out.
booey2 replied: Yup, ROFLMBFAO DH does the bed thing but doesn't say anything and waits til I say something and by that time he has let another go. There have been some nights I had to leave the bed he is soooo bad.
~CrazieMama~ replied: at least he waved the blankets.....i had the covers over my head...lol
Maddie&EthansMom replied:
I am actually ROFL at that one. I haven't laughed this much in a while. I needed that! Thanks! This will be my new saying from now on.
To answer your question HappyMom....YES! I fart in front of DH. Unfortunately we are a horribly gassy family. LOL! Even poor Maddie inherited the gas. I can't imagine holding it in.
Maddie&EthansMom replied:
DH does this with the guys at work.
He does the window lock thing with me in the car. It is HORRIBLE!! None of us are silent about it and I think Maddie's farts get the most laughs b/c she will yell "Bull Frog" after she farts. Oh what a sweet girl we have. LOL!
jcc64 replied:
We call that a "dutch oven" or a "pressure cooker" in my house.
My2Carebears replied: it took me awhile, but i do it in front of him.
MommyToAshley replied: Your DH's poor Mommy! I have been the victim of one of your DH's toxic ones (on game night), and I feel pity for his Mommy! Sorry, Dave.
mummy2girls replied: I farted on my first date with jennas dad. But that was by accident. I was laughing so hard it slipped out..LOLOL to this day i still let them rip!!!!
MommyToAshley replied:
That's funny!
I think Ashley takes after her Daddy, she can make a room rumble! But, the bad thing is that she will laugh afterwards. I guess because we always laughed at her. I don't know how I am going to teach her how to fart politely... is there such a thing?
kit_kats_dad replied: This is some real life eh? We try not to pass gas too much around each other, but sometimes you have to do it or you'll blow up - right?
Its pretty bad in my office. I've resorted to calling my cloth office chair my fart saver. When you sit down, you get a nice gust.
kit_kats_mom replied: Niiiice honey!
You should tell the story about the girl who went without pooping because she didn't want her boyfriend to know that girls did that nasty stuff.
Guest_Alyssa'smommy replied: not to sound weird but i havent really had the chance
~CrazieMama~ replied: lol
CantWait replied: I can let em rip with the best of them, and dh thinks it's the grossest thing in the world for a woman to fart. Whatever!!!!!!!!! Even since I got pregnant with Anthony, I have really bad gas
CantWait replied: omg that is so cute and so funny, I can just imagine her saying it in that sweet little girl voice "BullFrog"
coasterqueen replied: OMG! You must be talking about my sis and her boyfriend My sis' boyfriend does not think girls poop or fart! No kidding! So my sis would never fart around him or go poop when she was over at his house. They have been together for 3 years now and they just moved in with each other a few months ago. When they were moving in she asked me "Karen, WHAT am I gonna do, I can't poop here?!!" Haven't asked her lately but I'm pretty positive she's had to go, lol.
jen replied: HOW can you even pretend you don't poop! HAAAAAAAAA! ROFLMBO!!! THAT IS SO FUNNY!!! My sister did that for a year with her ex then one day he was taking a shower and she ran in there and broke her fear! LOL!
Kaitlin'smom replied: Oh my I am sooo sorry! I hope you got out of the room or opened a window!
kit_kats_mom replied: I don't know the full story but apparently this girl really did not poop for like 3 months. She finally was rushed to the hospital and had to have surgery. How dumb is that? I cant' help but laugh. I didn't believe DH when he told me but one of his best friends from the same home town told the same story one night...guess it's true.
coasterqueen replied: This is so freaky, because I thought my sis was the only one that had a boyfriend like this and actually dealt with it, lol. I will have to tell her she is not alone, hehehehehe.
Okay, so I guess I shouldn't think her boyfriend should live on another planet, ey? If he's not the only one who has this train of thought.
Kaitlin'smom replied: Okay I just dont know how you can hold it that long......and maybe I dont want to know!
MomofTay&Sam replied: Go away for a few days and come back to this?? LMAO Ofcourse I never ever ever pass gas. LOL We have to much fun doing this type of thing.
NCMomX3 replied: Yes I pass gas in front of my family....but not in public!!!!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Actually this is very funny! When my DD was around 2 or 3 she did not believe that I passed gas at all! I just can't do that around people!
~CrazieMama~ replied: lol, i agree. I just can't bring myself to do it. Even when I was married, I could not honk the horn around my husband(ex now)...lol
Maddie&EthansMom replied:
My mom doesn't pass gas. She really doesn't. I guess we all take after my dad. He sure does have a lot to go around. ROFL!!
