Do you go out to the mailbox in your pajamas?

Our Lil' Family wrote: Note to self, don't go outside in PJ's. I had to go out to the mailbox but I am still in PJ's, I checked outside and none of my neighbors look to be home so I figured it safe, I do have a bra on at least. Well this would be the day that my builder rounds the corner as I'm walking back and honks the horn....flags me down to talk to me....GREAT!
Guess I won't be doing that anymore. How embarrassing!

PrairieMom replied: Not now, since its like -30 out, but in the summer I do.
To make matters worse, I have full sized adult feety pajamas, and work nights, so if you are lucky, you will catch me out side, in those, at 4 in the afternoon.

TheOaf66 replied: are you kidding, I was outside last night in my pajamas shoveling. Had my couch pants on. Many days in the summer I am on the deck in the morning with my coffee in just a pair of gym shorts on

I wear them to take the kids to school some days.

Calimama replied: No because sometimes I sleep in super short shorts because I get hot easily.

luvmykids replied: No, but only because I have to take Macie inside her school so I'm dressed, I stop and check the mail after I drop her off.

skinkybaby replied: Sometimes. We have pretty high hedges on both sides of the house, so it's pretty "safe".

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Yes...and I have to go into the post office to get my mail. Its right on the same road I live on so I can walk there. And the post office lady likes to chat. Ah whatever!

youngmomofone replied: nope because i live in an apartment and my mail box is inside a room in the front office, but I do take my daughter to school in my pjs sometimes. The teachers on duty open the door and take the kids out and since she is in the back seat no one can see that i have pj pants on and no shoes

lisar replied: well my mailbox is 3/4 mile from the house. But I have rode the 4-wheeler down there in my pj's to get the mail. Heck I am outside all the time with my pj pants and a t-shirt on with my purple fuzzy slippers

MoonMama replied: No way! There's to many teenage boys on my block and I have enough issues with them really wanting to help me around the house in any way possible! They seriously stand in front of my house on warm days tossing a football around too.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Not to check the mail cause DH does that, but I go across the street to MIL's house in my PJs sometimes, or run out to grab things I left in the car, put the garbage out, put the dog out, etc.
