What is your song?

Mine and Scotty's song is "For the Good Times" by Ray Price. We dance to this song every saturday night.

Yes, we try to dance to it every saturday. I'm sure we have missed a few, but the nights we couldn't he would call me on the cell and play it for me. We have a radio station here in Dallas that plays old country on Saturday nights. They play this song every saturday night and so we would dance to it. I hate old country. When Scotty and I got together he would force me to listen to it in the car (he has a tape with this song on it). This song became our song over the years and I love it now (of course) We have had some really rough times in our 9 years together. This song is very fitting of our relationship.

Anyway, I have the song on CD now and we listen to it whenever we want, but we only dance on Saturday nights.

We don't really have one song but we danced to "Forever Love" by Color Me Badd at our wedding. And for some reason "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys became meaningful. Oh and like Karen, "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion - that's the song they played for our cake cutting.

And your first song ever,was one that is really sad and old. No one here will know it, But it is "Me and Little Casey" by Dan Seals. I was raised by my Daddy, and we used to Rodeo, still do except now my kids do it. When my husband plays that song I cry.

We both used to sing it to cassie when she was little to soothe her and she still likes us to sing it to her if she can't sleep or is sad. I think it'll be the first song at our wedding xx

MomToJade&Jordan replied: For us it's "When I said I do" By Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black. We didn't have a very big wedding, in fact it was just a small affair in a park in Tallahassee FL. My parents decided that they were going to take us out to eat at Carabas, well on the way there DH played this song to me. It just became our song from that day on.

I guess you can call our unofficial song Faithfully as well. We always dance to that song when we see Journey in concert. I love that song.

Another song I love for us is wonderful tonight and Rick always tells me that, Stellar by Incubus reminds him of how he feels for me.

Nancy replied: We don't really have an "our song" but the song I always played for him was LOVE OF A LIFETIME by Firehouse . I had been married before and I truly felt like I had found my love of a lifetime. We have been through alot in our 13 years together but we are expecting #4 in May.
