Do you have dessert every night - spin off?
moped wrote: Just curious - we do NOT........in fact after dinner we don't eat, well Tom does but I don't - especially when I am trying to quit smoking and lose weight at the same time!
Do you have dessert every night?????
coasterqueen replied: Growing up as a child, yes. As an adult, no. It's rare that we get dessert, and it's usually something like jello because Kylie asked for some.
cameragirl21 replied: not every night but way more often than i should...that's why i'm always trying some new weight loss trick.... ETA--if you consider fruit to be a dessert then yes i have dessert every night, and every morning and every day after lunch too...i eat tons of fruit everyday.
mom2my2cuties replied: We have something sweet each evening. It doesn't have to be "Dessert" persay, but it is something sweet and usually something pretty small.
hoosier momma replied: I never plan a dessert unless it is a special occasion or we have company for dinner. However, I usually bake cookies or brownies once a month or so and we will munch on those of an evening until they are gone.
amynicole21 replied: Yes, every night. It has become a problem recently because Sophia will say she is full, but then beg for dessert. After her dessert, she wants MORE dessert and then later in the evening she is still hungry because she didn't eat enough dinner We really need to break the cycle.
Our Lil' Family replied: No, hardly ever. But we typically snack on something sweet (cereal or cookies) about 2 hrs. after we eat.
Calimama replied: Nope, once dinner is over we usually are done eating for the day.
stella6979 replied: I don't, but I'm pretty sure Jeff (my DH) would die if he couldn't have his nightly bowl of ice cream.
MotherForever2043 replied: Sometimes, usually mostly in the summer (no idea why)
msoulz replied: We pretty much never plan for desert but if there is something sweet in the house we attempt to wait until after dinner to eat it.
sparkys2boys replied: on a very rare occasion do I make a special dessert for after our meal.
Cece00 replied: Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Guilty! I actually have dessert for breakfast these days too...I'm out of control I tell you! But when you're nursing, I suppose I have an excuse for burning the extra calories! And I somehow crave sweets as soon as I wake up (I eat a regular breakfast too). But yes, I typically have something sweet after dinner too...from cookies to a bowl of cereal with sugar on top. OUT OF CONTROL!!!
CantWait replied: Nope we don't. I'm really trying to get back into the habit of eating only fruit or yogart after dinner now, but dh is seemingly always hungry, so a lot of the time if he gets food, then I want it also.
ZandersMama replied: not usually, if I have company over then maybe. I always end up snacking in the night though, not a good way to get rid of baby weight. usually chips and crap like that.
luvmykids replied: We usually have dessert, I have it twice I eat a little with dinner but I usually have a much larger helping with my cup of coffee after the kids go to bed
ediep replied: we do, Jason usually has pudding or cookie, sometimes I can convince him to have a bannana
I usually have low fat graham crackers or a fat free ice pop
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I am so craving key lime pie right now.
No, we don't have dessert every night, but I do crave it pretty much every night. I'm real picky when it comes to what desserts I'll actually eat, though. I love chocolate or key lime pie. I don't care for cake or cookies or ice cream.
lisar replied: I dont make dessert everynight. There is normally always something baked at my house so if anyone wanted it they could have it.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Very rarely.
We do have dessert at lunch though. Darn daycare policies! But itès usually homemade cookies, or a muffin, or fruit salad... not cake and chocolate etc...
JadensMama05 replied: I wish!!
Jaden gets fruit for dessert every night. I'm lucky if I eat dinner every night!
Boo&BugsMom replied: Nope. Not anything formal at least. If Tanner eats a really good dinner then sometimes I will let him each a treat he got from a holidays or something, like trick or treat candy or chocolate from Christmas.
lesliesmom replied: No formal dessert but generally before bed the kids will have a popsicle or, if they've been really good, a piece of candy (I still have their halloween stash PLUS the christmas stuff). If I think they've had too much junk that day, then if they really want something they get an apple or yogurt.
holley79 replied: No not normally. The only time we have dessert is on special occasions or when I have a really bad craving.
Boys r us replied: We rarely ever have dessert.
Bamamom replied: As my grandma would say - yall have flung a cravin upon me.
Going to make a chocolate cake now
3xsthefun replied: No, not very often.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: No we don't have dessert, but Mackenzie will eat a few cookies later on in the night.
