Do you like this dress? - Its early, I know...
Cece00 wrote: Ok, Rae saying Macy's had Christmas dresses on sale peaked my interest...but I went online & didnt like that many of them.
I checked Kohl's b/c that is where I bought Natalie's dress this year...
Well, they have this dress on clearance...
http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/clearance/...ong+Sleeves.jsp
And I happen to have $10 left on a giftcard there, so Natalie's Christmas dress for next year would cost me less than $5. Not too shabby, I think.
I cant decide if I'm going to see if they have it in the store, or get it online...the shipping is $.99 so I am tempted just to have it shipped & if the size doesnt look like what I think she will wear next yr, I can return it in the store...
I havent dressed her in green yet (she's had 3 red dresses so far) and I think it would be really cute. Plus she's dirty blonde w/ blue eyes so I think it'll compliment her...and I dont want anything too clsoe to THIS years dress, KWIM?
Opinions??
ETA: In case you didnt see it, this yr's dress

And dresses of Christmases past

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh I love it! Very classic and pretty.
MoonMama replied: I agree with Aimee! LOVE it and I can totally see her in it, and I think it would compliment her very well too.
Cece00 replied: I think she would look SO cute in it. And I'm even thinking about green for the boys too....not sure about that though...I dont know that I've seen a lot of green tops for boys.
I am laughing at myself that I am worrying about this on DECEMBER 29th 07 for ones that arent needed until DEC 24 08.
I'm anal, I admit it.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I didn't see this years dress. It's gorgeous!!! She is such a pretty little girl.
Calimama replied: I like it, but it doesn't have the wow factor her dress this year does IMO.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I love it! I'd get it!
Im being the same way about a winter coat for Alex to wear next winter. Old Navy has $42 coats for $15!! I know if I wait they wont have his size online and Ill be so mad at myself!

I love it, I think it would be beautiful on her
bawoodsmall replied: I agree it doesnt have the wow factor but it is still beautiful. I would totally get it.(what is it with totally today???) She would look beautiful in a brown paper bag though...that would be really cheap.
stella6979 replied: I personally don't like the feel of velvet, but it is a pretty dress.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I think it's gorgeous!!
grandma replied: I LOVE this year's dress - it's adorable! Next year's dress is very pretty too.
Cece00 replied: really, huh? well, I guess that could always be an option
Cece00 replied: Yeah, I dont love velvet either, but I think I can deal with it for just one day (she will just wear it on Christmas Eve).
Now the trick will be to find 3 boys shirts in green...I'm thinking either green & white check, or green & white stripe. I think solid green shirts might be too much. But the trim on the dress looks to be an off white color, so I think I will be able to do khakis for them, which will be nice....I've done black pants for the boys for years now, and they NEVER wear black pants except for that one day, so I feel like I'm wasting money with those...
luvmykids replied: That would look great!
grapfruit replied: I like it!
jacobsmama replied: I love it!
Cece00 replied: I ordered the dress!
With my gift card & a promo code I found online, the dress cost me $3.83
I love a good bargain!
Now I have 11 months to find the perfect shirts for my 3 boys.
Crystalina replied: The one she had this year is so adorable!
Boo&BugsMom replied: I love it too. It's got a classy old-fashioned look to it!
HuskerMom replied: It's so pretty! She's going to look so cute!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Absolutely beautiful! I would definately get it for her for next Christmas!
