Do you still use Dreft or similar?

booey2 replied: I think that I only used that stuff for about 1 week after Matthew (now 6) was born. We just use our regular detergent and when both boys were smaller I always ran a 2nd rinse cycle to make sure it all got out.
DansMom replied: We recently stopped using the dye-free/perfume-free, but we went to Gain rather than Tide---Tide is great at cleaning but definitely itchy, IMO.
ediep replied: I stopped using dreft when jason turned 1. I still do his clothes separately with the same detergent that I use for dh and I, because i don't bleach his whites or use dryer sheets for his clothes.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I think I stopped using baby detergent when Claudia was about 18mths old. She has very sensitive skin and was allergic to baby wipes. Once she got over that we switched to regular detergent.
MomToMany replied: I use All free & clear on everything. I don't separate Kayla's clothes either. They get washed with everybody else's.
jdkjd replied: I have to use Dreft for Kiera's eczema.
kit_kats_mom replied: I think I bought one box of a "baby" detergent when I first had K. used it up and have used our regular detergent since then...usually arm & hammer. Never had a problem
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I am still using Dreft, but I think only because I had some left and I wanted to use it all up.
Mom2Boyz replied: We used Dreft for the first 6 months, but since Conner doesn't seem to have sensitive skin, I started using All for his clothes as well as ours. Dreft is too darn expensive in my opinion
maestra replied: Dreft actually irritated Jaci's skin, so we use Par, a store brand you can find in Safeway. It's ridiculously cheap, but it works and it doesn't irritate either of our skins.
momof2girls replied: I still use dreft but have tried the dye free stuff too..
coasterqueen replied: I think we bought Dreft once or twice and then that was it. It was way too expensive for my taste and Kylie had no problems when I switched to dye/perfume free laundry detergents. We usually use All Free and Clear because it's the cheapest "free" kind at Walmart.
I actually haven't tried regular detergent. Not sure why, I just use the free and clear on all our laundry. I figure we don't need all that "extra" stuff anyways.
