Do you think this color is ok?

Anyways, I orded him a pair of dockers and two shirts with my last paycheck. They came in the mail last night and the one shirt is a lot darker than the picture shows. It's something "different" than DH is used to wearing as far as color. He's a very plain dresser so I was wanting to spice it up a bit. I figure if I buy it while he's gone, he gave me permission to, then he'll have to wear it no matter what. But I don't want to waste money if he won't wear it.

What do you think about this color? It looks quite a bit darker in person though.

They have a 30 day return policy. DH won't be home in time to do that, but I guess I could take it with me on our trip this weekend and let him see it. I just hate to take more with me than I already am. I'm already taking the whole house for two kids, what's one more thing.

He's always just wearing white or blue/white plaid or black/white, etc. I really want to add some color to his wardrobe. He'll never wear pinks, yellows, or purples, though. I LOVE it when the lobbyists here where purple or purple ties.

Heck, I got him to try a different type of jeans before he left, so maybe, just maybe he'll wear this color. I can't get him to wear bootcut jeans though.
