Do you use soap on your toddler?
MommyToAshley wrote: I still use baby wash or baby shampoo on Ashley's hair and then use the excess shampoo to clean her off. She gets clean, so I guess it is ok. Just wondering if you use soap on your toddler when you give them a bath? If so, what age did you start using soap? (Ashley is 20 Months Old)
mummy2girls replied: Ive used the baby liquid body soap on her but she started to get reactions so now i use little goats milk soap. It is made for kids with very sensitive skin. and smells so nice! So i have been using that. All though it does cost more than other soaps...she is worth it though
ediep replied: I still use baby bath wash and baby shampoo on Jason. I guess it would be ok to use something like Dove soap now, but I think I'll at least wait until he is 2 or so
amynicole21 replied: I've always used baby wash on her, and I gave up the baby shampoo when she was about 14 months old. Her hair was too frizzy, and I started using adult shampoo and conditioner (infusium 23) to tame it down. We still use baby wash, though.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I just use body wash with Claudia and baby shampoo to wash her hair.
paradisemommy replied: i use a combo baby soap/shampoo on taven but he has insisted on using our bar soap to clean his feet for a good few months now..we always use dial and he's done just fine with it. he loves to play with the bar soap but i watch him extremely carefully cause i know if he gets it in his eyes it's gonna burn unlike his baby stuff. he loves to dig his nails in the bar soap and then tell me...eeeeewwwww
My2Carebears replied: I se the baby wash for Angel's hari, But I use Dove sopa to wash her.
alice&arik replied: I use the baby wash/body wash on Arik. The head to toe kind. He doesn't have much hair so he doesn't really need any shampoo. I don't want to use regular stuff just in case it gets in his eyes. I know how it stings! Sometimes I just use the bubble bath to do his hair and body also.
CantWait replied: I used the infant body wash on Robbie for the longest time. he's got very sensitive skin, and bad excema (sp??), and we don't use bar soap either cause our skin drys out easily.
3_call_me_mama replied: I use Johnsons Head to Toe wash on Cameron for soap, but the ped said after 6 months dove would be fine.. I just like the way the baby wash smells.. and I use regular body wash for DH and I so it didn't make sense to go out and but soap instead of baby wash. But for shampoo we use Loreal Kids or Johnsons Kids... it's foamy and he like to wash his own hair with it and it sitll has the no more tears in it.
aspenblue1 replied: I still use baby wash on Isabella and baby shampoo.
DansMom replied: I use babywash type soap for cleaning him, but Daniel discovered my bar of soap about two weeks ago and gets a big kick out of playing with it.
coasterqueen replied: I use Baby Magic body wash/shampoo combo on Kylie. I LOVE the smell of it so I just can't give it up.
jem0622 replied: I use baby body wash on both boys and baby shampoo on both boys also. Whatever I pick up. Not usually J&J.
I love the foaming shampoo!
MomToMany replied: I still use the baby shampoo/body wash (usually Parent's Choice from Wal-Mart) with the lavendar/chamomille in it. Ethan is too afraid to use soap (got it in his eyes too many times, I guess). So, we still use that on him, and Hannah. I use original Baby Magic on Kayla.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I still use Johnson & Johnson baby wash and the shampoo on her hair...probably wont change until I run out, they are big
Deana_momto4 replied: I use Suave kids shampoo 2-in-1 and conditioner on Chasity's hair and have since she turned 2 last August and I use plain bar soap that we all use which is usally Dial on her too. I started with the Dial bar soap as she turned 2 last August too. She has always had sensitive skin so I held off on the regualr bar soap until she turned 2yrs old and she did fine with it. Before that I always used either Johnsons or Gerber baby wash on her.
She has very long and curly hair and at 2yrsold the baby shampoo wasnt getting her hair as shiny and untangled as I liked so I switched to the Suave and it is GREAT for her hair. I of course have to use detangler too.
kimberley replied: i used baby wash and baby shampoo til the boys were about 4yo.
jdkjd replied: We use the Baby Moose foaming soap-Bailey loves it and baby shampoo.
